We had a behind-the-wall plumbing stack that we suspected was leaking. I called Advanced Plumbing right away (Im a repeat customer) and they scheduled up a technician quickly. Friendly Aman arrived on time and was super courteous and professional. He diagnosed the issue pretty quickly and determined that it was a big job. We were able to schedule a fix later the same week. Aman came back and fixed it! It was in a tight space, but he carefully cut and removed of the drywall and was able to get in there to place the pipe. Very neat aNond tidy, very little mess, they took away all the debris, and vacuumed and swept up afterwards. I would highly recommend Advanced as your go-to plumbing specialists.

Review for protect completed in early Dec 2022. From end/to-end, this was the BEST contractor/trade experience that weve ever had (and weve done our fair share over the years). Starting with the initial quote, Mike came by and gave us a comprehensive explanation of what our options were to repair/replace our aging front porch. He is clearly a seasoned construction professional and we found him to be really straightforward and honest. When it came to demolition and construction, Mike and Natasha did a fantastic job. They explained everything they were doing and why; they were totally flexible in design changes that we requested; they showed a great deal of pride in their work; lots of attention to detail; very tidy workspace; and just super accommodating overall. Workmanship was A+. Even during construction while our porch and deck were still unfinished, we got lots of compliments from our neighbours. What an absolute pleasure working with these folks! We are already thinking of calling them back for another project at the back of the house.

I called Perfect Seal, Jeremy picked up and gave me a quote on the spot based on measurements I gave him. I sent him pictures to be sure and he confirmed right away. The next day Pablo and Adam arrived within the time window specified. Super-friendly guys, very attentive, and extremely professional. Excellent job, great attention to detail, and no mess or overspray at all. I will definitely be calling them back for the next time I need to seal my driveway. The price was very competitive but will vary with driveway size I would think. Great value all around. Thanks guys!!

(Work order 383258) Very professional, punctual, and knowledgeable. Conan was quick to diagnose the issue, he didn’t have the party with him but ordered it on the spot. I was so impressed with his professionalism that I requested he come back with the part when it came In. When he came back he was very efficient, checked other parts of the machine, fixed what needed to be fixed, and gave me tips for keeping it running in good order. Thank you!

Great service, great timing, great effort! It took a few days to get a hold of 4MD (probably because they were busy), but after we connected I got booked in short order and the service technician came out a few days later, right on time. A quick diagnosis confirmed that the blower motor had seized up and a new one was needed. 4MD ordered up the new parts, called us back when it came in, and came back promptly to replace the part. They even took the time and effort to see if this could be covered under warranty before they charged us (it wasn't because we were well past the original manufacturers warranty), but I thought it was extremely good of them to try. Thanks for the good work, I'll be sure to call again if I need help on my other appliances.

We hired Gilbert Glass & Mirror to make and install custom mirrors in our newly renovated bathroom and a closet door niche. From start to finish, Gilbert glass was highly professional and very courteous. Gilbert (the owner) came by personally to measure things out and provide us with a quote. And then a few days later he came by again to install everything to perfect satisfaction. We had a oddly located electrical outlet where the mirror was to be placed, but Gilbert and his team knew exactly what to do, made a cutout for it and then put a mirrored faceplate on to make everything blend in seamlessly just like I've seen in high-end hotels. I really like the fact that he owns and operates his own fabrication facility so he is able to custom make his products on site, and doesn't have to depend on someone else's production schedule. I found his pricing to be very reasonable and his scheduling was very accommodative and flexible.

Ryan and his team just finished replacing our old deck and built us a new cedar deck and fence about 3 weeks ago, and we couldn't be more thrilled. From start to finish Ryan was a real professional. He came by in July to measure up the space and talk to us about design and material options (with the caveat that he couldn't start until November because he was booked up solid.... which is a good sign that they're so busy!). Shortly thereafter, Ryan sent the most detailed estimate that I've ever received from any trade that I've hired. It made it so much easier to decide on which grade of wood to use and which design options we wanted to pay for and which ones we didn't want. During construction Ryan and his crew were extremely efficient and very, very neat. And throughout the entire process (from quote to construction), Ryan was always easily reachable and ready to answer any other questions or concerns we had. The final product is terrific and we couldn't be more thrilled! If you're looking to build a new deck, we definitely would recommend that you talk to Ryan about it first!

M&R was great from start to finish. A very pleasant initial chat with Marcin (one of the owners) gave me confidence in the Company. Then Mark came over to inspect the roof and provide us with an estimate. He was on time, extremely professional and very diligent. His report which came a few days later was very detailed with photos, full list of materials, itemized costs, expected timelines, etc. was amazing. These guys take their work seriously! When work time came, the crew was ontime and very polite and professional. They removed and replaced all our shingles and replaced a leaky flat roof over our front porch. I highly recommend using M&R for roofing needs and you can definitely have a lot of confidence in them.

Ana at Night & Day is super nice and totally awesome! My wife made the appointment and within a few days, Ana was out to come visit us to do measurements, show us various fabric and design options and give us a quote on the spot. And she even came in the evening after regular work hours which made things so much more convenient. When the window coverings finally came in, the installer made it seem like a breeze, it was very quick and easy. The difference in the room is literally "night and day"! I would highly recommend anyone to use Night & Day for their window covering needs. Their advice, service and final product are all terrific!

This company is terrific… I thought the level of service that I got for the price I paid was fantastic and I would highly recommend Duct Cleaning Specialists to everyone. Adrian and Steve showed up right on time and took me through the entire process of duct cleaning, showed me all the equipment they were using, and explained pretty much everything I ever needed to know about duct cleaning. They were extremely polite, friendly and efficient. And they were super neat and clean (they took off their shoes without even asking!). They gave me a lot of confidence as they did their work, and I'm glad to have had the opportunity for these guys to come in and clean and disinfect my ducts properly.

Tyler came by the house in the arrival window as scheduled, and I'm sure glad I didn't put this off any longer! Tyler was extremely professional, very tidy with his work, and gave us full and complete explanations for everything that he did and really gave us quite a good education on all the workings of dryer ducts. We already had some ideas where we thought we had problems, and Tyler confirmed all those issues as well as showed us some other things that we didn't see. After seeing all the lint come out, we were very relieved to have had this work done. Tyler re-did our transition vent, put on a new outside vent cover that prevents critters from coming in while allowing full venting outwards, and confirmed that our straight pipe/duct was in good shape. We now have great piece of mind that our house is safer and our dryer runs more efficiently. Thank you, Tyler!

Everybody I dealt with at New Canadian Drain and Plumbing was great! It started with a very pleasant and courteous chat with Nicole at the office to set up a time for an estimate. Then when I had to reschedule I spoke with a different (also very nice) person at the office... But the next day Nicole was nice enough to call me back to reconfirm the time because she noticed it was different in the schedule from when she had originally booked it!! What great attention to detail!! Then on estimate day, Iman came over right on time and I found him to be very knowledgeable, straightforward and he answered all my questions (even the dumb ones!). I found the quote to be reasonable and Iman was able to schedule his team to come in within the next few days to do the work. The crew were awesome, they wasted no time and got right to business and when they were done they cleaned up and left everything in great shape. For the city inspection, Iman kept me up to date with progress (which was slow, but not the fault of Iman or New Canadian D&P). And then for final follow-up, I had a really busy schedule, but Iman was amazingly flexible and he came by in the evening to inspect everything and give me all the necessary paperwork to file for the city rebate. You guys are my first call for everything plumbing/drain related! Thanks for everything!

We recently moved into a new house in Toronto and one of our priorities was to replace the old furnace. We got several quotes from different companies, but Boris stood out from the rest of the pack because he was by far and away the most knowledgable, courteous, and common-sense person we met through the process. When he came over, he took a thorough inspection of the current situation and set-up, and he took the time to explain everything he was looking at and why he was doing so (i.e, joists for venting, air supply, drainage, etc.). He even gave me some really good common-sense advice about plumbing and drainage for the new furnace and in general. His original quote was for a very good Lennox model, but I wanted to look at model that was one grade above it. Boris took the time to call me back and explain the differences and pros and cons, and in fact, he actually suggested that I go with the less expensive model because it would suit my needs just fine…. He actually tried to "down-sell" me when every other guy tried to up-sell!!! One of the best things about Boris is that he answers all your questions truthfully, knowledgeably and honestly, and he gives you all the information you need to make an informed decision. I can't say enough great things about the man! On installation day, Kam and his team came over at he scheduled time. Kam was also another great guy! Like Boris, he did a review of the site and job, and explained to me what they were about to do and the approximate time. Kam also took the time to listen to my needs and concerns regarding placement of the exhaust vent, and he made sure to find an appropriate joist to go through. Any time I had a question about what was next or what they were doing, Kam was always happy to explain things, which made me feel really good about everything. Kam and his team were top notch, did everything well and cleaned up nicely! You can tell that these men take pride in their work and in doing a good job, which makes me (as the customer) feel really good about the work being done. And as a non-technical guy, it gives me a great deal of confidence in the overall job and workmanship. I almost wish that I needed to buy another furnace so that I could give Cozy World more business!
