Circulating pump broke on the weekend (of course). After being disappointed with another company, i called ketteringham whom i've been using for boiler cleanings for many years. They had a truck in the area and Steve and his apprentice came right over had fixed the broken spring in the pump within minutes. Finally i'll be able to sleep again--it sounded like a train in here every 5 minutes. Steve was friendly, professional, very knowledgable, and answered all my questions. Highly recommend Ketteringham.

Having been unhappy with the service provided by two other companies, I took the advice of a neighbour and called Ketteringham. Service was excellent. Arrived on time, efficient and helpful with suggestions. Highly recommended.

Great service and happy with the work. Pleasant to work with and very knowlegable about boilers ( Also confimed by two separate sources in the industry before the work started) . I was told, by a contractor, that there would be no hassles or problems in terms of what to expect, which is always nice when you're working an older home. Work was neat and tidy. Work included pipes being replaced and redirected to clean out the mess of pipes original to the home. Price was comparable to other quotes which included a Viessman ( German ) Boiler and instal of a water tank and removal the old tank and pipe work.

Ketteringham is an amazing company. They clean our furnace every year. When we did some renovations they also replaced & re-installed a couple radiators. They are efficient, polite, professional, clean & come whatever time of day an emergency may happen.

We recently tackled a full home reno requiring, amongst other things, an update to the heating system (the previous heating system was a coal conversion, oil fired, boiler in excessof 50 years old!).

We wanted a wall mounted high efficiency condensing boiler and after speaking many, many Toronto based heating contractors, we opted to go with Frank and Ketteringham heating.

Frank impressed me with his honesty and reasonable approach. He also wasn't afraid to answer questions, unlike many of the other heating contractors who came to bid.

We soon settled on the boiler, ideal placement and other modifications to the upgrade the exisiting heating system. We agreed a price and a date and duration for the installation.

Frank came round a few times during the reno to see how we were getting along and to look at the pipes as we were discovering them as we tore down the walls. He seem geniunely interested and even went so far as to give us some pex piping to run in the walls before the drywall went up.

Jason, Troy and Matt came as agreed and installed the boiler and related equipment and reconnected some new radiators. They worked efficiently in the basement and laid down dropsheets or took off their shoes as and when they needed to walk through the finished house.

I am grateful to Ketteringham heating for making the process of upgrading my heating system a satisfying one. For a while there I didn't think there was an honest heating contractor in Toronto.

I would gladly recommend them to others and will be using them again soon when it's time to finish the basement.

I have been using Ketteringham heating for 7+ years - I have them come every may to clean my furnace (they offer 15% off in the summer). Very reliable. I also had them just look at my furnace and proactively replaced a few valves thus saving me from my furnace breaking down in the winter. (It has been the same service person for the 7 years too so he knows the house and furnace!)

Having been 'red tagged' (i.e. shut down) by Direct Energy (who kindly promptly gave us a quote at about double the going-rate) we contacted several heating firms to give us a quote to replace our 30+ year old boiler. Ketteringham quoted (on a Saturday morning) less than 2 other firms for the same boiler. They didn't try to sell us on the expensive high efficiency (which we ended up buying anyway) and were happy to quote on mid-eff & high-eff. They showed up when they said they would, worked until the job was done and came back promptly when an adjustment was needed. They were pleasant and professional to deal with. They know boilers. We will have them back when we renovate the basement.

We agonized over the decision of who to hire to replace our ancient gas boiler in our newly acquired 6-plex building. Should we go high or mid-efficiency? How many BTU's were required. We'd never had radiators before. So many things to consider. Ketteringham gave us quotes for every kind of furnace on our list, and then brought an engineer to be certain of the calculations/specifics. The quotes were very competitive with others we received, and the service was excellent and professional.

I own an East York bungalow with an ancient hot water boiler that left the house cool in the evening and recently stopped working. The Ketteringham contractor replaced the incorrect thermostat, made sure all of the settings were working properly and patiently explained how everything functioned for me. My boiler now works way better than it ever has and there are no more chilly nights.
