Do not ever use this company. We took in several items to get framed. Two were pieces of art and I discovered after changing the frame done by Izzy, we found out that he had CUT the art we submitted to be framed. Yes, he cut the artwork to fit the frame. I should go back and deal with him but anyone who would knowingly do something like this would likely defend his actions.
I have been meaning to write this review for some time. 2 issues with Cohen and Mater: (1) Price: Way too expensive for work done. I had another service come to my house and they charged way less. (Was licensed arborist); (2) Service & Follow-Up: I called them in an emergency when a tree had fallen at my house - figured they would service a past client and they said no. Said job was too small and they were busy servicing a large client (U of T). I supported this company as the owner is young and trying to build his business. Gave him a chance and regretted it.

I have been using Ketteringham heating for 7+ years - I have them come every may to clean my furnace (they offer 15% off in the summer). Very reliable. I also had them just look at my furnace and proactively replaced a few valves thus saving me from my furnace breaking down in the winter. (It has been the same service person for the 7 years too so he knows the house and furnace!)
Yard Maintenance and Snow Removal
We have been using Richardson landscaping to come and clean our yard 2x per month for the past 7 years. They are reliable and affordable in both the summer and the winter. They usually come with a crew of 2-3 and get the job done quickly and carefully. They do winter snow clearing too and they are reliable (come quickly and often during a snow storm - priced separately).
Excellent experience. Contacted them via email and they responded within 1 hour and with offer to get the move done on the same day. I ended up scheduling an appointment and they showed up right on time and got the move done within estimated time. Staff were both helpful and careful. Would not hesitate to use again. Excellent, cost competitive and reliable service.
