We had a Bertazzoni wall oven repaired under warranty. The cooling fan had started making a loud noise. The process took several months, but this was largely due to delays in sourcing parts from the manufacturer.

The first visit to diagnose the issue was straightforward.

On the second visit the tech brought a replacement part which turned out to be defective in a manner similar to the original. Frustrating, but not the fault of Home Appliance Care.

On the third visit, the tech arrived without the replacement part, it had apparently never been ordered. Definitely the fault of Home Appliance Care.

On the fourth visit, the replacement part was good. All fixed.

We dealt with two techs at different times. They were both friendly and helpful.

Communications were OK throughout. The biggest issue I found was the fact that Home Appliance Care tried to insist on providing whole day appointments, i.e., any time between 09:00 and 16:00, with 30 minutes notice. I dont see why this should be the case. The techs are certainly scheduled each day: they surely dont go randomly from one job to another. I understand that often jobs take more or less time than anticipated, so a fixed-time appointment wont be possible, but my experience is that other companies will usually provide a half-day or two-hour time window. To be fair, I did manage to arrange for half-day appointments towards the end of the process, but only after a fair amount of negotiation, and likely only because the tech showed up without the part for one of the appointments.

Called on a Friday booked for Monday morning. The technician (Johnnny) arrived checked the Bosch dishwasher. Indicated a small blockage in the drain line which was underneath the dishwasher and above in the basement ceiling which was not completely open. He was able to access the blockage from the basement small access panel (which will replaced by a larger access panel), his height helped. I do recommend Home Appliance Care.

The technician (Johnnie) was very pleasant knew what he was doing and identified the oven problem quickly. New parts ordered! Well done!

The first thing was that the service call was booked within a day and the service technician showed up the next day, that was quick. When the service technician, Luc arrived, he saw that I was wearing a mask, so he put on his mask before entering the house.

Once inside the house he went straight to work. Opened up our Microwave oven and identified the issue almost immediately. When Luc left our house we had a working microwave oven, again.

The original repair left us worse off, as a loud buzzing coming from the appliance could be heard as soon as the new part was put in, (think corona discharge-like sound). After asking the technician if he could stay to revert it back to the old part, which was buzz-free, he told us to call the office and see if this would be possible, which we did. We asked the customer service rep if the technician's next call could be pushed back and whether he could stay to revert the part back. The entire conversation escalated quickly and unnecessarily. We followed the tech's advice to call and see if his next service call could be pushed back, or if he could have authorization to stay. Instead, we were spoken to rudely, and were put on the defensive for having our words misinterpreted. They offered to have the technician back the next day to make the repair and swap the old part in which we appreciated.

That same day, we were told that a new part would be ordered for us. This was never done, in fact our file was closed that day as Home Appliance Care no longer wanted to service our address. Of course we were never notified of this, and only found out weeks later, while waiting for a phone call that never happened. When I did call Home Appliance Care weeks later, I was told that it was GE who requested for our file to be permanently closed, when in fact it was Home Appliance Care that did.

As customers, all we wanted was to have our appliance fixed, but the entire process was draining, and our appliance never did get fixed.

The bake element on our Dacor wall oven stopped working just before Christmas leaving us in the lurch suddenly. I contacted Home Appliance Care Gloucester and received courteous and prompt help to diagnose the problem. Their technician, Minh, was knowledgeable and efficient in diagnosing the problem as a burnt bake relay in the control board.
Unfortunately neither he nor I was able to locate a replacement board from the manufacturer (Samsung has bought Dacor and don’t seem interested in providing replacement parts for older ovens) or on the internet.
I was able to locate a great local electronic repair shop (Auto Gadgets Electronic Repair) and Minh returned to remove the board, help me label all of the wiring harness connections and instruct me on how to replace the board. Auto Gadgets fixed the board for $70 and I replaced it today with 100% success!
All in all, I spent just over $400 to fix the problem when a replacement oven would have cost well over $5,000 so I am a very happy customer of Home Appliance Care and Minh in particular. I would recommend them any time based on my experience.

After some slightly unsatisfactory service and a conversation with Head Office, the company made amends to a prior concern and earned back my business. I'm happy with the outcome and look forward to their help the next time an appliance breaks. Great customer service.

I have owned my new Bosch Washer and Dryer for 10 months now and had an issue with my Washer recently. I called Bosch as directed in my manual, who then works with Home Appliance Care Inc. to actual make the home visits for the repair. I was called within 24 hours to set up the appointment and I found the staff to be very professional, accommodating and friendly. Shout out to the service technician (Moe), who really went above and beyond and took the time to explain the issue to me. THANK YOU all very much for an extremely pleasant experience. Home Applince Care was imposed as a third party from LG. First appointment was inconclusive despite their assurances that my fridge was fixed. My second appointment came one week later with the wrong parts. Not even capable to order the correct parts from the manufacturer. I started my third week with uncleared timeline for this never ending process. I am very disappointed and I strongly recommend clients to avoid using them if they can. They are unreliable to say the least!

Our Dacor cooktop has required a few appointments from Home Appliance Care through the years. We have been reassured by the careful and obviously competent service we have received.
