We had a Bertazzoni wall oven repaired under warranty. The cooling fan had started making a loud noise. The process took several months, but this was largely due to delays in sourcing parts from the manufacturer. The first visit to diagnose the issue was straightforward. On the second visit the tech brought a replacement part which turned out to be defective in a manner similar to the original. Frustrating, but not the fault of Home Appliance Care. On the third visit, the tech arrived without the replacement part, it had apparently never been ordered. Definitely the fault of Home Appliance Care. On the fourth visit, the replacement part was good. All fixed. We dealt with two techs at different times. They were both friendly and helpful. Communications were OK throughout. The biggest issue I found was the fact that Home Appliance Care tried to insist on providing whole day appointments, i.e., any time between 09:00 and 16:00, with 30 minutes notice. I dont see why this should be the case. The techs are certainly scheduled each day: they surely dont go randomly from one job to another. I understand that often jobs take more or less time than anticipated, so a fixed-time appointment wont be possible, but my experience is that other companies will usually provide a half-day or two-hour time window. To be fair, I did manage to arrange for half-day appointments towards the end of the process, but only after a fair amount of negotiation, and likely only because the tech showed up without the part for one of the appointments.
