First off.... a trades person who does a follow up call! How rare is that?
Called Imran a few months ago in the fall to fix our 2005 Vermont gas stove. The pilot light had gone out, and even when we could get it going it didn't stay lit.
He arrived on time, cleaned it out and it seemed fixed. He did warn us that one of the (multiple) sensors was weak.
A week later... it stopped working again. Another call and visit, this time he thought it would be the sensor, so he bought that and brought it along (warned us that this call would be close to $500).
Turns out it was just the on/off switch that was faulty. He could just as easily have said it was the sensor and we would have been none the wiser.
Fireplace is working to this day.
Trustworthy and knows his stuff. Highly recommended.
