Hansen Plumbing and Heating is the best. We had just moved into an older house and found that our furnace was making horrible noises. It was a cold day and Rene came out to tune it up. Nothing was actually broken yet. Then it died later on that evening and Don came out and found that the blower motor went. He went out to get parts and came back right away. It was fixed very quickly and it has been working fine ever since. We also found out when replacing our washer and dryer that the water taps leaked, so when we went to turn off the main water valve we found that it was seized! Don came out and fixed the main water shut off and put in new laundry taps as soon as the city was actually able to locate the shut off in the alley. Everyone that we have dealt with in this company have been excellent. Will definitely use them again. They came highly recommended by my family who also live in the area.

We went into the Pete the Plumber showroom and talked to Bob. He was very helpful. We had just purchased an older home that still has the original cast iron pipes and needed to replace the barely working original toilets that had clogged our main line. We were worried about getting low flow toilets in an older house but he assured us that the Toto Eco Drake would be able to do the job. They even had some in the showroom that we could see operate. We ordered them and Jason came to install them. He was on time, courteous, clean and did an awesome job replacing the shut off valves as well as installing the new toilets. They work great!

I moved into a different house that had an existing water softener in it. The softener wasn't working so I called Culligan to take a look at it to see if it's fixable. They charged me $135.45 to look at it. I paid the guy $136 cash and he checked off paid by cash on the receipt. We later got a letter saying that we owe them $135.45, so I called and was told by someone there that they got a new computer system and to ignore the bill. Then a month later I got an overdue notice. After a few more phone calls and scans of the receipt (which I also believe is proof that the balance was paid in full by cash - it did say paid with cash), they had to talk to the rep that came to my house and see where they were out $135.45 to see that I indeed paid it. Awful. In the midst of all of this they sent a high pressure sales person to try and sell us a new water system. 0 stars for sure.

We used this company to shovel our sidewalk for a month last winter while we were overseas. We found out from a neighbor that they didn't shovel our walk very often, and when they did, they only shoveled part of the sidewalk and part of the walkway up to our house. We paid for them to shovel our whole corner lot. Disappointing. Our neighbor saw what was going on and finished the job that Yard Worx should have done!

Dynasty Spas Calgary has been easy to deal with even though we have an older tub and aren't the original purchasers. We needed written proof of the CSA number (for the electrical permit since the sticker was missing), new neck pads, lock keys, some jets, etc and they were able to help us in a very timely manner. Great job!

I recommend Ecoline Windows. From start to finish, their employees were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Their sales staff brought sample windows to our home so that we could see the different types they had. Ecoline Windows was the only company we called that had seen metal cladding and knew how to remove it. They went above and beyond our expectations when it came to the install. The staff were meticulous.

Reps didn't show up for appointments and wouldn't return phone calls on a timely basis (one of the reps that was booked was apparently on vacation). All we wanted was additional monitoring equipment for our house. Reliance signed us up for a 4 year contract without our consent (ended up getting resolved after numerous phone calls as they had no proof of a contract). Their customer service has gone downhill. We no longer trust them and have since cancelled our services with them.
