After some serious hail this past summer, we decided to have our roof checked for damage. We called multiple companies, some which wouldn't even come out without a charge. We had narrowed it down to 2 companies, however Epic showed their true colors when they came out for the second time at the request of our insurance company. They were extremely professional and had great customer service. We were told 6 weeks to wait until the roof project started and it actually happened earlier. The workers were clean, professional, and got the job done in 2 days. I always hear of bad stories where nails are left everywhere but that was not the case with Epic. The gutters are still to be replaced in about a week and Im sure they will be done in the same fashion. I highly recommend Epic for your roofing project.

After getting a number of quotes, we were the most impressed by Ecoline and their customer service as well as competitive price. We booked an install date which ended up being sooner than expected which was nice, considering our cold winter. I really appreciated that they didn't talk negatively about their competitors, they just explained how their windows were made and their benefits. It was also very nice having updates on processing time and when they were ready. The installers were great, they laid drop sheets everywhere they were working and were polite. Considering it was -20 outside and basically the whole front of our house was uncovered, they worked hard to get it done quickly and efficiently. When they were finished, they cleaned up inside as well as all the debris from outside. I can actually enjoy sitting in my living room and sleeping in my bedroom without freezing thanks to Ecoline and my new windows. I would definitely reccomend.

After many quotes and searches on homestars, we decided to go with Western Granite. They were the cheapest and had great reviews. We had our kitchen templated and decided to do our bathrooms as well. Right after the long weekend we had our install date which was only 10 days away. They guys showed up when they said they would and had the work done in 3 hours. The plumber showed up shortly after and did the finishing work. Fung and his crew were very reliable, professional and courteous. They even cleaned up after themselves. After trying multiple times to get the screw out of the handle I finally called Plumber MD. Morley was awesome and after a lot of tugging and drilling to get the stubborn handle off, he finally got it off. We had to replace the entire handle as well as cartridge so it was a little on the expensive side, but just happy there are no more drips. Thanks for never giving up!

We needed to have our lawn maintained so we called Green Drop. They gave a very good quote and were very professional. They always called before they came and always let us know how to maintain it after the fertilizer and weed killer were applied. Our lawn looks better than ever!

After visiting a few stores and getting little or no help we finally decided to visit Trail Appliances. We met Murray there who spent the time going over many different types and prices with us and eventually led us to the clearance section where we happen to find the perfect fridge at a great price! The checkout process was quick and easy and everyone was very professional. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

After trying another company with excellent reviews but very bad customer service I decided to go with MFP Services as they had a great review as well and great service. The company is owner operated and Wade was fantastic! After a basement reno our ducts were very dusty and dirty so Wade came out and spent a few hours cleaning them as well as the furnace. He even replaced our Humidifier's filter and suggested a very good furnace filter you never have to change! We decided to go with it and are very happy so far with the results. I would definitley suggest MFP Services to anyone looking to have their furnace or ducts cleaned. Great Job!

After talking to Cal at Carpets For Less and getting a great price we decided to go with them to have our carpet in our basement installed. He was extremely helpful and kind, offering to let us take 5 pieces of carpet back to our house so we could decide which one looked the best. The work has just been completed and we are very happy with the results. I would definitely recommend them for your next carpet or flooring install.

After a few quotes we decided to go with Polski Drywall because the price was good and Mike (the owner) was very polite. He does all the work and did a great job on everything we hired him for. He definitley is detail oriented and worked around some tough spots in our basement. Thanks so much for the great work! We would definitely recommend Polski Drywall to anyone who needs framing or drywall done.

After many quotes we decided to go with Calgary Electrical Contractors to have our basement electrical completed. The price was the best and the work was phenamonal. Excellent work by Greg himself as well as an apprentice and 2 other workers for the finishing work. I would definitley reccomend them for your next electrical job.

We called Multi-City moving to assist us with our move from Toronto to Calgary in early October. The manager came and did a quote which was just a little under the actual weight cost and they price-matched to a different company. We dealt with Leslie the majority of the time and she was good. The movers in Toronto were excellent and quick but very careful at the same time. We had our things picked up on Oct 6 and were to be delivered by Nov 1. When we got to Calgary on Oct 21 after a short vacation, I called Leslie to see what our options were if we couldnt get into our new house on Nov 1st and she then told us that our things were still not shipped out. She told us our things would be there on the 1st anyways so we told her to ship them immediatley. A few days later I called back to ask if she could have them delivered on Nov 3 as we were going to be painting for the first few days. Nov 3 came and no phone call.. we had to call to find out where our things were. Leslie informed me that the Calgary dispatcher said our things were on a truck and would be there later that day to be delivered the morning of the 4th. The 4th came and still no call. We had to call again and ask where our things were. It was then that we spoke to Abraham, the manager and he informed us that our things were still not in Calgary and they were going to arrive that night to be delivered the afternoon of the 5th. We were not pleased at all with this as we had plans on the weekend and had to abort them. I wish they would have been up front and just told us our things were going to be late instead of holding off and making us more upset for 2 days. I understand that with long distant moves this sort of thing can happen but it would be have been nice to have more accurate timing. Thank goodness we had my sisters place to stay at but we were overstaying our welcome and it was getting rather irritating. Anyways, not sure if we would use them again though the first part of the move went great, the second half didnt. Good thing is now we have our things and it is all over.

When I called 5 Star Cleaning I was pleasently surprised by the price they were quoting me to have 3 bedrooms and our stairs steam cleaned. We decided to give them a try and were very satsified. Our carpets look excellent and we would definitely choose them again.

We found Ambassador on Homestars and decided to give them a try since their price was great. To our satisfaction all of our locks we re-keyed to the same key within a timely manner and he even fixed our sticky lock. Great work!

Had our house estimated by Tony himself and within a few weeks he sent Ned out to start the work. Ned was very professional and kind and had the work completed in 3 days. The tops of our windows were even finished nicely too thanks to his attention to detail. He even pointed out a problem in the porch eavestroughing and came up with a resolution to fix it. It looks fantastic and I am very pleased with the results. To add to all of this, our yard was left so clean I didnt have to pick up any debris at all!! I would highly recommend Westwood Aluminum for your next project. Great work!

We contacted Firm Fence after reading a good review and decided to get a quote. The price was very good and Daniel was fantastic and very knowledgeable. We were very impressed and decided to give them our project. A few days after, Hydro came to do markings and then they were at work. The contractors work and team was amazing, always trying to make us happy no matter how much work it took. We had a complicated backyard with gardens around the perimter and they took extra care around these areas. I cannot say enough good things about this company. They employ great contractors and have good ethics. I would highly suggest them for your next fence project!

We needed to get our furnace inspected as it was not done since we moved in and decided to call Coretemp after reading plenty of good reviews. The gentleman came over as promised on time and was very knowledgeable. He explained that there was some miswiring done that was causing our furnace to come on when our A/C was on, wasting energy. He quickly fixed the wiring and fully inspected everything with us present. Great job and great price! Keep up the good work Coretemp!

After reviewing many ads, we saw the many good reviews for Capps and decided to give them a try. Paul arrived and had a look around then explained how duct cleaning worked and what he was going to do. He explained everything so well, we were both shocked as we did not expect this. He was very courteous, removing his shoes each time he entered the house and was always making sure nothing was in the way that could cause damage to the house. When the cleaning was done he showed us the difference in the pressure from the cold air returns and even took the time to clean the vent of dirt marks! We were very impressed and would definitley recommend Capps to anyone looking to improve their ventilation. Very knowledgeable! Thanks for your hard work!

We needed to get 2 new outlets put in our kitchen to hook a dishwasher up as well as an outlet by our furnace to run power to our tankless water heater. Dino came and put in the 2 new units in the kitchen and did an excellent job. He was very polite and was quick to get to work. He came back later to hook up our dishwasher once we had it installed and installed the new outlet in the basement. Dinos is a very professional contractor who enjoys doing work well as we saw. I would recommend him to anyone.

We called Jose up to refinish our hardwood floors upstairs and stairs and he was very nice. He came out to look at it and suggested to replace the floors since the originals were almost worn out. It turned out we ended up replacing the hardwood for about $500 more than it would have cost us to refinish the whole floor. He came back later after our new railing was put in to sand and stain the stairs and railing. Him and his workers did a fabulous job and I would recommend him to anyone! Thanks!

We just bought a house and wanted to replace the front old wooden door to a new fire safe steel door and we decided to call Ambia windows and doors after reading good reviews. They were very friendly and came to our house the weekend we moved in to help us pick out a door. The whole experience was hassle free, he helped us pick out a style and color and was very affordable. 4 weeks later the door was delivered and installed perfectly! It looks great and makes the house look a lot nicer. Thanks Tony and your team!

We are very happy we chose Roberto to do our railing. He was very helpful in helping us pick out a railing and explained everything to us. We called a couple companies before and they were not very helpful, seeming like they didnt want our business. Roberto was quick to jump on it and very nice. We had a great experience with Mike and his crew. They were extremely friendly and very knowledgable. They had a great sense of humor but were very professional at the same time. They took great care of our furniture and I would recommend them to anyone.
