Joe has done odd jobs for my family since we moved into the house several years ago. He is very conscientious, hard working and punctual. He was exceptional for doing fences.

I called Aaron and asked him to install a new television onto the basement will with a support for the DVD and Bell box. He was on time, cleaned up and did a fantastic job. I will certainly call him back to do another television in the house shortly.

I have waited far tar too long to thank your company for a series of jobs that were done extremely well. After moving into our most recent home, we found a water leak in the basement that came from an unknown source. One company told me that it was coming from ground water flowing below the house, since the water only came in when it rained heavily. Another company told me that it was not a roofing issue and that I needed to replace the weeping tiles. The company that prides themselves on being on television weekly told me that there was nothing wrong with the roof and to look for the water problem elsewhere. After calling in a number of people to solve the problem, I spoke with B.W. Wyatt and found him to be the most resourceful person I have ever met. He went onto the roof, took pictures inside my attic and then showed me a series of problems on his computer. He found that the water in the basement was coming from an incorrect cap on the roof and that the roof was installed incorrectly. I knew that there was a problem with the roof, since I know that you don't place wood shakes on top of asphalt shingles and he confirmed this fact. In short, your company completely replaced my roof and I am more than completely satisfied. You also replaced four skylights, after installing an opening one the other day. While it may be true, Avenue Road Roofing charges more than many other companies, it is also true that you get what you pay for in life. My neighbours were all very impressed with the work and have asked my if I would recommend your company. In a word, yes. I work with various trades on a daily basis and they all told me that they work was well done. Thank you again to B.W. for finding the problem, for coming out in the pouring rain to check on things for me and to all of your capable workers.

When I had received the quote from the company, I was satisfied because they were highly regarded in the industry. My quote accompanied a five hundred dollar deposit for work in August and the company finally returned my deposit in December. it took numerous calls to the company to get a refund on work that they promised to do, yet were never able to accomplish. When I first hired the company, they did good work, yet then they were perhaps not as busy. It is apparent that their success is due to being featured on television and they are taking on more jobs than they can possibly manage. In the meantime, I received a quote from Avenue Road Roofing. I know that it is going to cost me more to do the same job, yet I know that it will be done properly and in a timely fashion.

The company has always been able to dispatch a plumber almost immediately and even pulled one off of another job when I had an emergency call. I called in Bowen after having two waterproofing companies take on a small job of water getting into the basement. They were able to tackle the problem properly and professionally, although they are extremely busy these days. They were able to ascertain the problem, give me a realistic repair schedule and solved the problem for me with complete satisfaction. After calling in this company to our third house, I was fully expecting to be told that a new furnace was necessary. Bob told me that the problem was small and could be competed with very little effort. Bob, we'll call you to install in this house and our next one as well.

We moved into a new house and had a sewer back up in the basement on the second day. After calling the city, they sent several sewer experts to determine if the problem was ours or theirs. It turned out that the problem was on our property and was a job that we had to remedy. After calling the builder, the plumber that he sent was unable to solve the problem to our satisfaction. He was only able to tell us that he was not familiar with drain problems and that his specialty was plumbing. We called three drain companies and the one that I called last, Express Rooter stuck in my head. It was not because I had seen them on Holmes on Homes, it was because a plumber had told me to call them if I ever had a problem with my drains. Not only did they solve the problem with the most sophisticated equipment, they cleared their schedule so that we could resume life as quickly as possible. The job is now finished, without a trace of a mess and we are absolutely thrilled. The employees were polite, respectful and very knowledgeable, since they were all qualified plumbers. The job was explained to us every step of the way and we were able to see the progress as it was being made. We were not talked down to, nor were we told things that were too technical in nature that we would not be able to understand anything. I would like to thank all of the hard working people at Express Rooter for their time and patience, since I did ask a lot of questions. They tolerated me looking over their shoulders on a regular basis and gained my respect for their work ethic. There are a lot of people out there who are able to repair problems, yet they really need to be credible and a specialist in their field. It is true, when you are happy with a company you tend to tell everyone you know, as well as when you are unhappy with a company. I told my neighbor about the company and they are now going to be in contact with them.
