We hired Soner to strip and paint our front porch windows which were peeling badly. Soner recommended to plaster and then paint to avoid future problems and give us a long lasting solution. He filled in all the cracks with plaster before he painted which gave our old wood a brand new look. We are thrilled with the results. Soner also painted our front deck and stairs and everything now looks brand new. Thank you for a job well done Soner!

Chaz and her team provide beautiful gardening maintenance service. One thing I appreciate is how they check in each and every time before a visit to confirm what they will be doing and question if anything extra needs to be done. They often go above and beyond the requested services as well. Highly recommend this company.

Mors arrived at my house on a Sunday within one hour of my phone call. He assessed the problems with my fridge and freezer unit and determined there was no issue he could fix because it seemed to be a manufacturer's defect. He was honest and upfront about the issue and suggested that even if he ordered parts it was unlikely to fix the issues. He didn't charge me for the visit or the assessment! Wonderful man and service. Thank you Mors!

Terry fixed cranks on 3 of my my windows within 45 minutes (20 minutes of this was labour - the rest of the time he was back and forth to his truck). He charged $250 which I thought was expensive, but I was pleased with his work. I then went overseas for 6 months and when I returned, one of the window cranks had broken; this was the very first time I tried to open it after Terry's repair. I phoned Terry and left a message about it - he did not return my call. I followed up 5 weeks later - and he yelled at me on the phone saying he would not guarantee his work for that long a period. He accused me of opening the window with the lock secured, then accused 'someone else' of opening it and breaking it. I explained that I had been away for 6 months and no one had opened the window since he had fixed it. He refused to listen to me or believe that the window had not been opened since his fix. I would not hire Terry if you are looking for someone who stands by his work or manages his business in a professional manner.

I contacted 6 different companies about having an HDTV antenna installed, and TechUnbound was the only one that called me back (plus responded promptly.) Within a few days' time, they were able to make the inspection and install the antenna. They provided all the equipment (including the antenna), were very helpful in answering all my questions, even worked in the rain, and now I have 30 over the air channels. I was not pleased with how the cable was run from the roof OVER the gutter rather than around the end of it. Also, the cable was not set securely to the house until about half way down the length of the house. After several weeks, they returned to secure the cable to the top of the house, but they did not fix the issue of the cable running over the gutter, which was my primary concern. Other than that, everything else was fine.

I had large tree growing into the back of my garage, half of which needed to be cut down. Andrew and his team were professional from start to finish. He came by on the day I called him and finished the job beautifully, with everything cleaned up and removed. Even the neighbours, whose property had to be accessed for the job, remarked on Andrew's exceptional service. Thank you Andrew!

My roof was in need of immediate repair due to a major leak on two levels. All of the companies I received quotes from had high ratings on Homestars and were equivalent in warranty, price, insurance, etc. I selected Royal because they were the only company to walk me through in detail what the problems were, show me step by step what they would do to fix it, and refer me to people who could repair the interior as well. They came across as friendly and professional, and they proved to be just that when they replaced the flat roof. Not only did they accommodate me immediately (on a Sunday!), they worked from 9 AM till 10:30 PM to get most of it done so that the leak was fully sealed. They also took photos of every stage of the work and were excellent in answering my questions and accommodating some additional requests. I highly recommend this company.

After having a leak in my master bedroom, I had my shingles replaced by The Roofer in 2009. Four years later, all is still well and the roof still looks brand new. I had some other recent work done on the house by another contractor but required The Roofer's involvement. Dan was excellent in his responsiveness (on a Sunday afternoon), and getting things sorted out with the other contractor, Fantastic customer service and highly professional. Thanks Dan!

I found Royal Custom Aluminum on HomeStars, and true to its reviews, they did an excellent job replacing the soffitt and fascia on my 90-year old home. Mike was terrific in terms of his fast response, his level of service, and ensuring I was satisfied wtih evertyhing from the proposal to the finished work. I highly recommend Mark Goger and his team. They replaced a deteriorating retaining wall that came with a series of challenges like uneven land, property line issues, junk removal, etc. From the first phone call through to finish, Mark demonstrated a high degree of professionalism, care, and attention to detail.
