The dishwasher door latch broke of our Samsung Dishwasher, this was reported to Comerco on Dec 25th and my first appointment with Appliance Gene was on Jan 10th after numerous calls and follow up. The repair guy showed up two minutes left stating he had to order the parts and it may take two weeks. This parts generally available over amazon or any parts store with delivery time of 1 business day the max. ApplianceGene on the other hand having hard time picking up the phone calls and when reached out the receptionist asks call back but to avail there is no more room to leave a voice message.

Mike and his trainee did a great job dismantling my washer and dryer so we could get them out of my narrow staircase. He responded quickly, came to do the job and finished the job quickly, and the price was affordable. Thanks Mike!

We hired Appliance Repair Genie to fix our washing machine, which was showing an A10 error (long drain). They called us just after we posted the request and said they could come right out. They offered to not charge us tax if we paid cash, which we declined.

A technician came out quickly and said the pump needed to be replaced. They charged us $340 for the part. They called us the next day to say the technician wasn't working with them anymore and they'd send out someone else plus an apprentice. They looked at the machine again and said the pump was fine and it was now showing a F26 error and the motor/tachometer would need to be replaced. They said they'd try to get the new part in a hurry.

They came out the next day and said that the machine was now showing a different F error code and they were giving up trying to fix it. When I inquired about a partial refund, they stopped returning my calls/texts.

Summary: Came out three times, didn't fix my washing machine, charged me $340 for a part I did not receive, ghosted me afterwards.

Half the freezer was icing up. Mike came within two hours of my request for service. Mike immediately knew what was wrong. He gave me a quote and he even had the parts with him. He explained everything and showed me the problem and then proceed to fix my fridge. I'm very happy with the repair which comes with a 30 day guarantee.

Finished the job quickly, very polite, oven works! Even took the time to explain the issue and how it was resolved.

My washing machine began making a rule grinding noise. I called Appliance Repair, found their add from social media. The partner on the phone was polite, friendly and honest about how they operate (diagnosis, payment, moving forward, etc). Mike, the technician, was able to stop by within half an hour (VERY FAST). He was able to fix the problem within the hour, out everything back. Quick, courteous, informative and honest. Highly recommended.

Friendly and quick response. Came and checked what was wrong and told me I needed a new part. Agreed to the part (the part only was quoted at $325+tax) and labour ($180) costs that he called for a price on. And had to pay upfront for. Fridge wasn’t working and didn’t want food spoiling.
While he was getting it, I checked the price of the part at the store he went to. It was listed for $180+tax. When questioned about it, he told me you had to call for the price. So I did and they told me it was $180. There was nothing I could do about it since I payed for the part ahead of time. I also followed up after calling the store to be ghosted. Be cautious of part prices.

Front load washer presented an error with my clothes in it on a Sunday. Mike came first this Monday and once the issue was identified, advised on the pros, cons, and potential costs of fixing vs getting a new washer. Also, called in to get quotes for the costs of parts.
Reasonable cost for consultation. Very direct and knowledgeable person.

Mike responded quickly to my request and explained his pricing and what to expect from his visit. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He was able to assess the problem and provided fix solutions. I will definitely use Mike’s services again and highly recommend him for any appliance repair jobs.
