Shop with extreme caution!!

There is an excellent selection to shop from but the sales people, although knowledgeable, arent exactly forthcoming. We purchased a stove, microwave and refrigerator. We were promised delivery between 1-2 weeks. We were told everything was in stock. The timing of delivery was very important to us and we were guaranteed within 2 weeks, maximum. Not even close. After we made the purchase we get a call on the drive home saying theres an additional 2 week delay. We had to fight to get each one delivered without incurring additional fees. The last appliance took over 13 weeks to be delivered. Multiple errors were made with the invoicing. When called out, they did fix their mistakes and apologize but that didnt stop more errors being made. Its important to review their paperwork closely and take their promises with a grain of salt. The sales people never reach out again after initial purchase. It really felt like a sales tactic by promising quick delivery and then changing the information a very short time after youve paid full price for 3 appliances and left the premises. We tried to cancel the last appliance and got told about 25% restocking fee. This was not disclosed to us at time of purchase. Finally, it was delivered and of course, there was a dent in the side.

Trying to withhold my deposit while not delivering

Told me my deposit would be refundable up until the item was delivered to my house. This was over the phone with sales and then confirmed with a manager later that the sales indeed told me this.

I wanted to cancel the order and go in another direction with another retailer. Then they told me that the invoice they sent (after I already paid the deposit) claims a 25% restocking fee. Whats the point of sending invoices with fineprint after already taking the deposit? Why not just make it a 100% restocking fee?

Anyways, the managers and owner did not want to honour the sale's agreement with me and tried to keep my entire deposit. Visa is giving me my money back.

Great Purchase Experience!

We recently purchased a Dacor 30" Dual Fuel Range as a replacement for our previous stove and we couldn't be happier with both the product and the service provided.

Our consultant, Jeremy, (now at the Burlington location) is extremely knowledgeable, patient and responsive. His years of experience and insights were valuable in helping us land on our choice and he was also able to provide us with a recommendation for an installer that we would highly recommend for their clear communication, punctuality and thoroughness.

The delivery process was clear and the team sent was punctual, pleasant and took great care while brining in the range.

Replacing major appliances is not something I look forward to but I have to say that Jeremy and the support team at Best Brand made it an enjoyable experience.

Dishonest

Overpriced and dishonest company! We were renovating our kitchen and required appliances asap; they held us hostage with our deposit even and charged us 25% restocking fee though they knew they would NOT have the products in stock for another 3 months. After many stressful weeks of pleading with them we eventually did get the products, but what a terrible experience!

Now, special word of caution about the unpleasant saleswoman at the Oakville location:
- She failed to disclose the restocking fee before we paid
- She misled us into believing Bosch charged restocking fee
- She mocked us for being stressed over this issue
- When I called her out on her misrepresentations she became loud and obnoxious in front of her colleagues I was embarrassed for her and exited as quickly as I could
Definitely do NOT recommend- and I would like to see them respond to my review- I have all correspondence as proof.

Customer service following Sale is lacking

I had a good in-store experience with Daisy (North York) in January 2023. At that time we placed a large order for multiple appliances. I understood that some delays in accessing our appliances were possible. HOWEVER, it has become VERY CLEAR since that time that confusion, misinformation and inexplicable delays characterize the experience with this merchant. I feel that their Delivery Department has been rude to me. They characterize blatant misinformation as typos. They seemingly expect consumers to solve their own problems. NEVER AGAIN!!

Worst post sale customer service!

We placed an order last March before renovating the kitchen. We choose appliances that we were told were available and would be received by end of summernow more than a year after we still have not received the oven and microwavefirst we were told end of October, then December, then April, now July.we had to buy another oven and put it in the basementno one from this company cares and when I called a few times to complain was told there are people waiting more than 2 years.I was looking forward to my kitchen renovation, experience which they have completely ruined for me as now its more than a year that I have these two holes waiting to be filled

Appliance Purchase

I highly recommend buying all your appliances at Best Brand Appliance . We have dealing with Best Brand for a major kitchen renovation in 2015 and more recently needed to purchase a dual fuel range.

Aaron , one of Best Brand's sales persons, assisted us through the research and purchase process. He was very attentive to our specific needs and sensitive to our wanting a 'worry free' experience with the new range.

Aaron was extremely responsive, followed up as promised and was very knowledgeable regarding the product options.

Buy at Best Brand. You won't be disappointed.

After sales service and support terrible

Purchased 6 appliances, and sales staff were a treat to deal with. That was a great experience and we felt good after purchase.

Then came delays, and weird experiences trying to arrange payment and delivery. Slow or non existent responses, many of which didn't even answer the questions asked.

We did finally get all the appliances, and had them installed.

After a few uses, our Davor wall over showed poor enamel coverage that was damaged, rippled and peeling. Right down to bare metal, on both the bottom and back of the inside of the oven.

Neither Dacor nor best brand would take responsibility for this, and both shrugged me off. Almost 6k for the wall oven, and it's basically garbage now. A few months old, no support, no service, no help. Not even an "deal" on a new one. It's taken me some time to even be able to write this review, as I've been too upset and angry.

So maybe be careful of the excellent sales staff....since theres nothing else Best Brand offers after that. And stay
away from Dacor appliances. 100 percent would not recommend

Hello Elizabeth, I understand its frustrating and customer would like to blame the company for the product shortages and hardship clients have had, I can assure you that all appliance companies have the exact same issue including the competitor you spoke about below, we are all doing our best to get products in for the clients who ordered during the last few years, I think its clearly now known there is product shortages and delays from all suppliers across the board and that means all dealers have the issues you spoke about. Raymond was fantastic

Raymond was our sales rep.
He was amazing from the beginning.
He is a sales Rep at the Leslie /York Mills store
Helped us to get the best appliances and price for our new build.
We had a few hold ups with our build and Raymond was extremely flexible regarding changing delivery dates etc.
Highly recommend!!
