Furnace would not turn on in this cold weather. MacKay had put in my air conditioner and I chose them to come and look at the furnace because when they put in the air conditioner they kindly cleaned up the messy work the original furnace installers had done. They came fast and did the work and explained everything in language I could understand the cost was reasonable I choose them to come back and do regular maintenance on furnace and air conditioner. Good service fair and reasonable what else can you ask for :)

Furnace wasn't working. I called in the morning, they were there in the afternoon. Pleasant repair person, Adam, fixed furnace. Also bought air conditioner from them years ago. Reliable family-owned and operated business.

I had a leaking chimney liner that was flooding my basement late one evening during a heavey down pour. I called MacKay's 24 hour service number and they were very reassuring on the phone and told me what to do until morning. First thing the next day Peter was here to assess the situation and then Adam came to do the work that same day. Turns out it was not the liner that needed repair, only the cap that was badly installed allowing rain to fill the chimney with water between the bricks and the liner.....then flooding my basement. They re-installed the chimney cap and the bill was half of what it was quoted - they didn't do more than they had to, were honest about what they found, took pictures and showed me what they found, were extremely reassuring late at night when I was frantic, and super polite and professional when they arrived to the moment they left. Thanks for being there when I needed someone in a hurry!! Thanks for being honest and for taking the time to care enough to explain what you were doing each step of the way. Got more than my money's worth actually - found a great HVAC team in this new city of mine.

Although the source of the HW tank leak could not be identified, a follow-up appointment has been booked. Technician Adam's customer service is excellent - courteous, prompt, friendly with a sense of humour. Maureen's help with booking this emergency appointment while I was on vacation was appreciated.

always been very friendly and helpful.

My seven year old furnace quit with inside temp. at 54F. I called Mackay for service and Tech. Adam arrived before expected. Very professional and courteous, Adam investigated thoroughly, found and solved the problem with a good explanation for me. He also made recommendations for regular service and with the option for new parts, I was called quickly with an estimate. Both Adam and the McKay business get high marks from my experience.

I purchased a trane furnace from McKay Heating 9 years ago . We have had this furnace serviced by them ever since. The service I have received has been both professional and courteous. I have recommended them to a number of our family and friends.

Came home to no heat. Service staff booked me in for a late visit the same evening and then called and sent someone even sooner. They are always my first call when I have a problem.
