You Move Me Toronto/Gta

Moved from Toronto to Hamilton. It was hard and there was a lot of stuff to move, plus I was a total spazz all day and probably hard to deal with. They were quick, nice, friendly, funny, and twice they chilled me out when I was losing it! I'd hire these guys again in a second and I'd be happy to let one marry my sister. A+

I would say without a doubt that this 9hr marathon move could have been a nightmare if it wasn't for the guys, Alex and Carlos. they were professional on time and had it all planed out from the first location until the last (yes a multiple stop move).They had all the boxes and materials the we requested for the move and went right to work, where do these guys get all that energy!!! Believe me when I say no move goes without some type of glitch, ours was we were ruining out of elevator time but Alex took control of the problem and put things in high gear and got us moved in in record time making sure everything was wrapped in blankets and handled with care. yes we paid a little more then some of the other competitors but was worth it.

I believe its true what they say "You only get what you pay for" Wow how true that is.

The two guys they sent out my way could probably tell how frustrated I was and stressed out by my impending move. I just got through a messy separation and they were quick to joke that You move me is Toronto's number one movers for the recently divorced and dumped which was pretty hilarious. These guys had me packed and moved in probably under two hours. They handled my stuff with care and made sure that my TV a 65 inch flat screen was given priority treatment which made me feel like these guys actually cared. The one guy Ricky or Steve I cant quite remember really loved his job and it showed. This guy. What cant be said about this guys work ethic.He was truly an envision of what this company stands for. All in all. Perfect. Could not be happier.

Moving crew showed up on time and were professional throughout the move. Things were done in a timely fashion. Would use them again for sure...

Moved a full condo to a loft about 15 minutes away. Guys were good and very careful with furniture. Set up and move from the house took a bit longer than expected...about 3 hours to move out and about 45 minutes to move in.

Timely, Professional, Polite, Respectful, Thorough, Organized, Easy to work with.....LOVED THE COFFEE IN THE MORNING. We have used your company for three moves on the way to building my dream house. YOU MOVE ME takes the stress out of move in day and that is invaluable to me. I promote you guys at any chance I can. You are a true 10/10 business.

What was an unexpectedly long and frustrating move, ended up being a very pleasant experience with the very quick response of Shawn Henry the general manager proving exceptional customer service by taking the time to make a personal visit to make things right. Thank you Rick and Tyler for your help and Shawn for your professionalism.

The two lads who moved me (Alex and Carlos) worked as a team and they were professional, pleasant and above all, patient. They worked so effectively together and they were calm and easy to work with.

In reading other reviews, it appears that the customer experience varies greatly depending on the members of the moving crew. Either I was incredibly lucky, or (and I believe this is the case) You Move Me is very careful about whom they hire as a moving crew. My team was terrific. They had to move a couch up the stairs because the elevator was too small. Fortunately for them I moved to the fourth floor and not the twenty third, but they didn't complain and there was no "attitude" when faced with this challenge.
Moving, even under the best of times, is a horrible experience, but there is a way to lower your stress level. You Move Me offers a pack of fifty boxes of assorted sizes. Save yourself the trouble of repeated trips to the grocery store or the liquor store. Get their boxes. You will be glad you did.
I would use this company again and I have no hesitation about recommending it to friends, but I would mention two possible areas of concern.
1. The estimate: Don't just answer the estimator's questions. Provide all the information you can, like the number of boxes, if you are moving into or out of into a busy high rise building, moving into or out of a two story house with no elevator, and the possible distance in parking the truck. All these things add time and can really skew the estimated time from the actual time.
2. Dresser and desk drawers: Are they going to shrink wrap the furniture and move as is? Are they going to take the drawers out and move them full? Find out in advance what they plan to do, because the method of moving drawers they used for me - packing the contents and then leaving them for me to unpack - I have never had a mover do that before and it caused me problems.

A well organized team that made you feel like they knew about your move with confirmations during the week and on moving day so you felt secure things would happen as promised. And they did, coming early and dealing well with a number of last minute issues such as no parking available, limited access, superintendent missing, poorly packed goods, heavy boxes and still they got the job done on time. Also the leader of the team was an exceptionally nice person and quite intelligent, making the whole process easier including the billing which was on the spot and multiple pay options were available. Moving is always an emotionally and physically exhausting exercise but You Move Me sure took most of the pain out it, Thanks a million, best move ever.
