You Move Me won this job by: visiting my home before the move to assess what had to be moved and quote on the job; showing an elaborate powerpoint detailing all of the steps that would be taken to protect my home and furniture; telling us how qualified and professional their team was. None of this turned out to be true. They arrived late, with less crew members than promised. Some crew members had company shirts, others did not. Some crew members were polite and worked hard, others were not and did not. They damaged floors and walls at both homes. It took 2 days to do a 1 day job (they unloaded and set up my bed on the first day, and then told me that they were not going to unload anything else until the following day, and left with all of my stuff in their truck). Only after complaints, negotiations, and a threatened lawsuit, did they agree to repair the damages, replace broken items, and reduce the final invoice as compensation for the horrible service. After receiving an upfront payment from me, as agreed (with the balance to be paid after repairs and replacement of damaged goods), they refused to repair or replace and simply took payment from my credit card. This is absolutely the worst moving company I have dealt with in over 20 years.

Kyle and Kevin are amazing. friendly, professional and crazy strong. would recommend the company any day of the week.

They also took extreme care with our antiques.

This moving company is very sloppy, the hire inexperience movers, drop boxes in front of you and move on. The quote less the pressure for more money. Broke the console of my master bedroom set and do not want to pay anything.
The make you pay for a useless insurance that pays nothing, just an extra cost. When there is a problem they do not return calls or email.
One of the partner, is a bully .

I made the mistake of hiring You Move Me Toronto to move 2 Restoration Hardware cabinets a total of 4.6km.

After laughing that I'd hired such a large truck to move only 2 cabinets, the 3 movers packed the cabinets upright instead of flat in the truck. The cabinets toppled over during the short drive and the metal handle that releases the open/locking mechanism broke making the cabinet useless.

I spoke to Josh, a manager, after the damage was discovered, and was assured that "we'll have one of our guys go over to fix the damage today or tomorrow". I haven't heard from Josh since that call.

Communicating with Belle S, a customer service assistant, proved equally useless as she never responded to my follow-up emails after sending photos of the damage as requested. Her email reply after receiving the photos, "Thank you for sending these Kimiko. We will get back to you shortly, regarding next steps. Best, Belle"

Save your money and the items you want moved and hire someone else ... ANYONE else.

I cannot recommend this moving company, and I would never use them again. Their packing was very deficient and their moving reckless as demonstrated by the many scratches on furniture that survived earlier moves.

Firstly, to pack, only two people showed up with confidence that quickly waned when a third and then a fourth showed up, although the third was not a packer as I found him simply dumping the contents of bathroom drawers into a box. Another box was found to contain many glass bottles without any paper or individual wrapping - i.e., glass knocking onto glass - somehow, it made it to the destination intact. Then, they ran out of boxes and, instead of getting more boxes, simply stopped for the day thinking theyd arrive the next day to resume (earlier, another packer, when running out of boxes, went out and got more boxes).

The next day was the move and no packers showed up - the movers were left to resume the packing - some of whom had never packed and needed to be taught how - while some things were not packed at all. Eventually, my wife and I joined in the packing.

At the destination and over the next few days, we encountered scratches and scrapes and dents on almost all pieces of wood and leather furniture - furniture that had survived perfectly after six earlier moves. Some items had scrapes along whole edges as though they sat on the floor of the truck without padding of any sort. Some boxed items were broken too - wine glasses and a porcelain jar.

This mover also claimed to be able to move pianos, but none of the five movers who brought the piano had ever moved a piano before and didnt have the confidence to move it, so it stayed on the main floor where it was NOT supposed to go. I paid extra to get another mover to move it.

In claiming damage, I submitted several pictures, and without apologising, their response was for me to approach my insurer. Then, they went silent until my pestering caused them to send someone to repair the wood furniture. He did a terrific job and left saying that this mover hired him a lot. As for missing and broken items, this movers final response was to ask me to sign a document saying that they would assist in the remainder of damages if I removed my review and never reposted it. I did not agree to this as I felt it important for people to know how this mover operates.

We are very dissatisfied with this mover.

Jordan, Fizal and Aman were super nice and made the move quick and stress free! This being our 5 or 6 move with them I am hiring them for our next one as well!
