Furnace and Air Conditioner

Bill has done a lot of work for us over the years since purchasing this home. Since then he's removed an old gas BBQ, installed a new AC, installed a new furnace, humidifier, as well as the maintenance that goes with them. Most recently when our AC wasn't pumping cold air into the house Bill came out the next morning and discovered there was a clog within the AC unit, which although is rare can happen. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and takes great care in what he does.

Excellent Service

Arrived on-time, Professional and pleasant attitude, did not try to "upsell" or try to replace furnace. Furnace cleaned and parts replaced. Prices were reasonable.
I highly recommend Bill and will continue to use his service in the future.

Fast, friendly, and reasonably priced service

With the cold weather approaching and our firat home that we bought last year the time had come to have someone inspect our furnace and show us how to use the humidifier. As busy professionals my wife and I appreciated Bill's promptness in getting back to us and his willingness to accomodate our schedules. He showed up on time, charged less for the inspection than competitors and then gave me almost an hour of instruction on every facet of the furnace. We also talked about potential upgrades. I appreciated his honesty. Instead of pushing expensive stuff (and generating fees) he pushed back and gave some reasonable and lower cost suggestions that would do the same job. As it turned out that the previous owners had ripped out the humidifier we hired Bill to install one. He bought the part and was back at our house the very next day, installing it and again taking the time to ensure that we knew how to use it properly. It is hard to find a core group of reliable, honest, and reasonably priced tradespeople. Bill is going to be part of that group for us. I would reccomend him without reservation.

Furnance, AC

I had another company come in to fix my Furnace/AC problem. It took them two weeks and still they could not do it. Frustrated, I needed to talk to someone I could trust and found Bill's company and read the reviews. Two days later Bill himself came in, diagnosed the problem, fixed it and provided me with future advice. I found Bill to be very knowledgeable and honest. Thanks Bill. Advice I will now share with you: get your HVAC checked every year.

Minor furnace repair

The condensation from my furnace was draining into a corroded pipe and consequently leaking into the mechanical parts of the furnace. Bill came the next day as scheduled, found an innovative solution to an unusual problem on an old furnace, and made the drainage system much better than it had been even before the pipe broke. A very positive experience.

Furnace Replacement

Bill replaced my 30 year old furnace with a new unit. He was great to deal with (very personable), was able to answer all my questions and recommend a new furnace which I researched before going ahead with the installation. I really liked dealing with the person who would be doing the actual work instead of a sales rep. Bill showed up when he said he would, the work was done within the amount of time described, and I felt comfortable enough to leave the house while Bill and his assistant were working away in the basement. The new furnace is working great and the price was definitely right! I'm sure my 20-year old AC wont last much longer, and I will definitely call Bill to do the job when the time comes.

Air Conditioning Repair and Parts

Bill installed my furnace about five years ago and was so wonderful then that I called him back when my air conditioner broke the other day. He was at my house within about three hours and made the necessary repairs for $90, including parts. The air conditioner worked and then broke again the same day. Bill was at my house in less than an hour to replace a different part that he was surprised had broken. The second visit was $140, which was mostly for the new capacitor.

Bill's service is fast and efficient. He's honest and only suggests work that's necessary. I highly recommend him for any heating and air conditioning needs.

Poor Air Flow

I tested my air conditioner for this first time this year as I am trying to get ready to battle the hot muggy summers of Toronto. I noticed right away that I wasn't getting good air flow knowing almost nothing about my air system unit I called Bill and his experts arrived within the same week. We we're able to fix my poor air flow issue and now I can feel a huge difference with cooler air reaching to places it never could before. I'm very happy with it right now!

Problems with Central Air Conditioner

My air conditioner was letting out warmer air than usual and I had my temperature set to 20 degrees. I had a feeling something was wrong with it so I called Bill and he showed up on site the next day. He took a look and discovered there was something wrong with my refrigeration there was some sort of leak. He sorted out the problem in no time and now I'm glad everything is back to normal.

Air conditioner maintenance

I wanted to make sure my air conditioner was working properly before the summer hits the city so I called Bill's Mechanical Heating and Cooling. They showed up within the same week and performed tests on my air conditioner to make sure its running smoothly. I'm glad I did they had to replace a minor switch in my unit which was at a low and reasonable cost. Now it's good to go thanks Bill!
