Great first time experience with Reliable.

We had an issue with our furnace not starting. I called Reliable based on HomeStars reviews and was contacted by Darryl the service technician and he had arranged for an afternoon appointment however he was delayed at previous jobs that couldn't be left and had to cancel. Darryl advised he could be at our home as early as I would like him to be the next day. We agreed on 7:30AM. Darryl arrived precisely at 7:30AM. I had to go to work and my wife was home. He found the problem quickly - an impressive spiders web in the venting causing a pressure imbalance preventing the furnace from starting. My wife called and told me the story and said Darryl was very personable and clearly explained what he had done. Because it wasn't anything major and because he had to re-schedule he didn't charge us. This was an unexpected and refreshing surprise and says a lot about Darryl's sense of integrity. I was very happy to get the furnace in working order since temperatures are in the low single digits overnight. Thanks a lot Darryl for everything... Reliable is now out go-to for HVAC repair and maintenance. We will be calling them soon for yearly furnace and fireplace routine maintenance.

Just switched to this company in the spring for our HVAC Maintenance. Can I say WOW! Craig Austin our Service Technician is AMAZING! Courteous, punctual and knowledgeable. He explained things to me so that I could understand resulting in saving money on our gas bills in the future. Who would NOT want to Save money! Thanks Craig!

Was looking for a reputable and well priced A/C installer, as it is not only the quality/price of the product but the quality of the install that matters for A/C units. You can purchase the most expensive AC in the world, but if it is not installed correctly it won't last.

After calling around to a number of highly rated A/C contractors, I got in contact with Rob at Reliable. He came out the next day (I was not in a rush!) and went over all the details and recommendations including SEER vs government rebate options. His price was much better than all the other quotes received as well.

Within a few days (still not in a rush!) Jamie and Peter came out to do the install. They were on time, easy to deal with, professional and got the install done in less time than they estimated. They cleaned up all the mess made from the install.

Rob came out the next day to check the install and only accepted payment from us when we were fully satisfied (which we were). He even went on to process all the paperwork and forms for our government rebate and register the warranties. All we had to do was drive the cheque to the bank!

I would highly recommend Rob and Reliable Home Comfort and would definitely use them again for any HVAC work in the future. They were a pleasure to deal with.

This is my second experience with Reliable Home Comfort (RHC) [the first one being an Air Conditioner install 2 years ago and I had a wonderful experience]. That's why when I had some furnace trouble a few days ago, I called RHC right away without hesitation. Rob returned my phone call right away (on a Sunday too!). He came out the same day (again on a Sunday wow!) and diagnosed the problem correctly. He came out with his tools the next day to finish off solving the issue! Throughout the experience, he was incredibly helpful and professional in answering my novice questions. I think RHC deserves more than 10 stars.

Excellent service & efficient installation. Would highly recommend. We called Reliable based on reviews on Homestars. As it was our first time hiring off of Homestars we were uncertain what to expect, but the reviews are right on! They promptly responded to our call, gave a competitive quote and installed a Goodman GMH95 high efficiency furnace & humidifier in one day. They were clean, efficient and professional. We have had our furnace for 2 months now without any issues. Amazingly this company has actually earned their top rating on this site.

Found 4 small gas leaks, as a result of which a new gas line had to be installed. RGC was excellent. Rob and James were prompt, reliable and highly professional. They installed and tested the new gas line in good time, and with great care and precision. Very highly recommended.

We called Reliable Home Comfort to come repair out water heater, they arrived right when they said they would and were very reasonable, $100. I would recommend them to anyone.

Our air conditioner stopped working during a heat wave. Rob diagnosed that the air conditioner only needed a capacitor. He provided excellent knowledgeable service and had the air conditioner working quickly!

If I could give Rob and his team an "11" I would without question.I had a new A/C unit installed a couple of years ago by Reliable so was quite surprised when it wouldn't come on a short while ago. Rob's team were very quick to diagnose that the A/C unit was fine and my old thermostat and wiring to the furnace were the culprits. Rob went out of his way to work around the problem and get us up and running quickly. Rob and his team truly understand how important customer service can be to differentiate a company in such a competitive market. Do yourself a big favour and make sure RHC is on your list of companies to check out.

Reliable were really good. They installed the new furnace fast. I was happy with their service so I used them again for adding a gas line and hooking up the fireplace. I was equally happy with that service as well.
