Our oven door has somehow come loose and we had to prop it up with a chair so it wouldn’t bend and ruin the hinges.
At first they didn’t have an opening until the following week but then Joanne the dispatcher talked to Everald who agreed to come as his last appointment. He arrived after 9pm and we were grateful.
A real professional, Everald understood the problem instantly and was familiar with the brand. He fixed the problem in about 20 minutes without needing any additional parts.
What a great company this is.
And what a fine technician.

My fridge was leaking water. Evril fit me into his schedule the same day. He was polite, neat and tidy, extremely pleasant, educated me with regard to my problem. A pleasure to have in my house. My fridge works great now.

Had a few problems with a Bosch dishwasher and they did a terrific job. At first I used another company and they couldn't fix it, but thanks to Home Appliance Repair is cleans better than ever now. The repairman was impressive: polite, courteous, he as very diligent. He arrived with parts recommended by Bosch technical department but uncovered and fixed another problem and didn't need all the parts. The cost was credited back to my card. Very honest and competent company

My washing machine wouldn't start and none of the handymen in the building could figure out why.

Everald came by and thoughtfully explained what he was going to do to figure out the problem. After checking the power, Everald suggested to check whether the unit was plugged - and it wasn't!

I'm thankful for the patience, service and knowledge Everald shared. He solved my washing machine problem and I couldn't be happier!

Had to deal with them regarding a warranty repair of a Cavavin wine cooler. They have unqualified technicians and they give you false information to get away with cheap fixes. Never go this company or buy Cavavin wine cooler.

Our recent experience with Home Appliance Repair was so negative that I have advised all our friends and relatives not to use them. Their technicians are not qualified to diagnose issues and therefore spend several days trying to think of a fix for your appliance (fridge, stove, dishwasher etc.) This is unfortunate because we all take time off work to accommodate these people in our home to no avail.

Their cost just to come to our home - $124.30
After 5 days and 17 phone calls between myself, the customer service person, 2 technicians and the manager, we decided to purchase a new machine. I really felt like a fool for calling this company to our home before reading the reviews. I hope that others read my review and stay away from (HARGTA).

The customer service do not communicate with the technicians and in our case, we were told by the technician that parts were on order for us, when infact the customer service person did not order the parts because she did'n think we needed them.

Finally, the technician who came to our home, flip our machine over which caused gallons of water to spill all over the floor.

I purchased a Bosch gas range from Appliance Canada and bought their extended warranty. The door of my gas range was locked and I was not able to open it. Appliance Canada recommended Home Appliance Repair. From the customer service rep calling me to set up the appointment to the repairing of the unit by the technician was a beautiful experience. They worked around my availability. I am so thankful that Appliance Canada recommended Home Appliance Repair. This will be my preferred company of choice and I have no issue in recommending them.

Called Samsung to inquire about repairing fridge. Told me to call these "preferred" repair people. Service tech had NO idea how to fix the problem was. Called someone. Said was "motherboard" $500 later and the problem still exists and new one developed (now it freezes all my food). Called again, sent another tech who had NO idea how to fix the problem. Would have someone call me...still waiting and it's been MONTHS. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Should've checked reviews before calling them, came out to diagnose charged $124 and said will need 2 parts , had to call them to follow up on parts order after a week parts took 2 weeks to arrive , a month later tech came put the parts in never waited to see if it's actually working.
freezer still not working and can't get a hold of them.

I have had two experiences with this company. Last fall I had my hardwood floors gouged when they pulled out the refrigerator with no floor protection. After repeated calls and no follow up, although it was promised, I finally gave up! I spent close to $800 on that occasion
I needed a further repair on my décor stove and called them again as apparently they are the authorized repair company for these appliances.
I paid for a service call and parts over 6 weeks ago and I cannot even get anyone to answer the phone or return a message. How do they stay in business? Find another repair company!
