Unfinished and unprofessional service

Our service call was incomplete (they did not finish the job) and the technician said they would follow up with missing parts. They never did and when we have called to follow up the manager is on vacation (seems like its been about a three month vacation now) and they will not provide us with any information or anyone else to speak to. Additionally, the one piece they did fix in our fridge, broke a few weeks later in the same way. What a joke.

Very Satisfied Customer

I had my old washer and dryer disconnected, and my new washer and dryer hooked. The technician Steven (forgive if spelling is incorrect), performed both of the services. He was very friendly and professional. He readily addressed my questions politely. What a lovely young man to deal with. If I ever need repairs on these appliances, I would request him. Representing TAS, gives me the confidence to recommend TAS.

gas stove installation

A retail/manufacture company authorized this company to install our gas range about 2 1/2 years ago. The stove was being replaced due to a warranty issue.

Now....we recently had a service call from another company for the range and was advised that the range was not installed to code. As the service company is no longer qualified to install gas appliances, I needed to call in another company.

When I called the company (TAS) who did the original installation, I was advised that they would not correct the problem.

I called in another company and learned that not only was the installation not up to code, the gas connection to the stove was not tight. This could have been a major major problem.

Fortunately the warranty company has decided to reimburse my costs for the gas stove installation correction.

Please refer to the below before (gas line not fixed to wall and short flex hose) and after pictures (gas line attached to wall with long flex hose) so you know how your installation should look.

I learned that these codes have not changed in the past 30 years....so no reason for faulty install other than incompetence.

Please keep safe

Oven Repair

Three service calls and a part that was unnecessary for $200.00. Started with an issue with one burner. Now three are not working. Technician came Thursday around 4:45. Told me he needed something from the truck. Disappeared for almost an hour. Finally came back and left at nine. The supervisor came with him following day and tells me it is another issue. They want more money for parts. Wont refund my money. I also got about four different stories about when the parts were arriving. Supervisor is extremely rude.

Company Response

How can you allow to have private user post a review on your page? Who is this person? Haw can we response when we do not know who the person is. Your company called so many times to join you but we will not and here is the reason why not. Looks like your site allow to bush all non members of your club and only good reviews goes through when somebody is a member. To all public - we do not know who is this person and we can't respond to it.

Excellent service

TAS fixed both my refrigerator and my range oven (both had partially died at the same time). The technician came quickly, diagnosed both problems within a few minutes for each, repaired the fridge on the spot, and came back in 2 days with the part required for repair of the oven. He also advised me on what to do about another oven part no longer available (my range dates to c. 2005)--the oven temperature read-out. (I bought an oven thermometer at Cdn. Tire.) I was delighted to get both older appliances working again quickly and efficiently, for a reasonable price given the labour and the part.

Dishwasher (Bosch) Repair

Took 2 weeks to get a service call from this company ($177 which I paid). Was given a repair estimate of $687. Phoned customer service to complain about the delay and high estimate. Was asked for the model and serial # which I provided. Followed up again and was asked for a copy of the repair estimate which you would think they have! followed up again twice. Was told their manager decided that Bosch will not assist with repair because the dishwasher is 7 years old and no original receipt. This took a whole month. I thought this company was not customer friendly and not very responsive. Ended up buying a new dishwasher for close to the repair estimate. Will not deal with this company again.

Four visits, $1300 in repair fees, still missing a part in excess of 6 weeks and no oven

Avoid this company at all costs. 6 months, 4 service calls, $1300 and no oven. The service manager does not respond to calls and the service staff simply respond we will follow up when the part is ready whenever that is.

Fridge servicing

Our fridge broke down, they sent a technician who was not trained nor qualified for the service. Spent over 2 hours assessing the cause while swearing. We called TAS and specifically asked them not to send the same technician in once the part comes in and they sent the SAME untrained incompetent technician that’s only been with them for 3 weeks. He left and the fridge was still not working. I called to complain and their customer service is not much better either. I waited for over 35 minutes to speak to a representative. Once they answered they hung up as I said “hi” because I’m assuming their shift was over as it was 5:20. I called back and the automated voice message said the office was now closed.
