Pollard Windows Inc

The trim on our Pollard door broke while it was still under warranty, and when I asked him to fix it they said they would but then kept putting me off and putting me off and then finally told me the warranty had now expired and there's nothing they can do to help me. They openly admit that they don't know who's doing what and that things fall through the cracks.

Two year old home, first year all the windows started to fade. They were quick to de oxidize them, but they started to fade again within 6 months. Now I got home today to find a large puddle of water below my window. The water is coming through just below the corner of the glass. It seems like the problems are never going to end, I'm hoping they will provide a resolution to my problems soon.

The initial conversations with their sales representative was very good, and he seemed helpful and knowledgeable.

Unfortunately, a couple of details were overlooked when we were going over the plans, (incorrect wall depths for a couple of windows and bathroom window should have been vinyl casing). Mr Kiely, the representative refused to change these details once the order was made.

The order was ready for shipment after about 5 weeks, and I was made to pay the remaining balance before it was released. Upon arrival, there were screens missing, window parts missing, and a door that wasn't painted. When I called about the door, Mr Kiely said I hadn't asked for it or paid for it (which was proved to be untrue). 3 months later - a new door arrived, and was painted, but terribly. This was replaced, after having to chase Mr Kiely and his team for another 5-6 weeks.

All in all, it took over 5 months, and lots of headache to get what I ordered. I would never do business with Pollard again

Purchased a new home 12 years ago with pollard windows. Noticed foggy glass a few months after the ten year warranty. Called company. Dealt with very rude inside sales rep. Would not consider anything but a quote over $1200 to replace the glass . I need new windows in a new home? Two very large windows and three smaller windows. Not impressed with the service or quality of windows.

From the initial contact at the Hamilton Home Show to the completion of the project at our home we were treated professionally, respectfully and in a friendly manner. The Sales Representative was knowledgeable about the products offered through Pollard. In addition, he was able to suggest unique features that would suit our needs. The process to order our windows was clear and detailed. You could ask any and all questions without feeling that your question was perceived as unnecessary. The staff ensured that the measurements were accurate by having the Installer visit our home and measure a second time. The Installing Staff were amazing - friendly, tidy, professional - they knew exactly what they were doing and they enjoyed their work. The product is far superior than what was installed when our home was built. We are now working towards the completion of Phase 2 of our window replacement. We have recommended Pollards to many other people considering home renovations.

Bought a brand new townhouse from weldan properties in 2016 with pollard windows installed. The drafts we get through our windows are so bad we tell our small children to stay away fRom the windows so they don't get sick.. adding this issue to our tarion warranty list ...

Had old living room window replaced. Everything was cleaned up and done in 3 hours.

We purchased pollard windows for our new homein 2008. We now have condensation between pains on over 60% of our windows.The service department will only cover the parts and no labour when clearly our windows have a manufacturing defect based on the failure rate.

The installation, the service, and follow-up was impeccable.
Removed old windows and installed new with new frames. All done in one day.

A 4 out of 5 because the installers did not seal the closet enough and I had a lot of dust that I had to wash the walls, ceiling and shelves and drawers.

The whole job ran smoothly from start to finish. The installer, Bob, is very easy to work with. We appreciate the quality of the product and are happy with the custom colour on the outside - really adds to the curb appeal of our home.
