I wish I had known of this company before. Our furnace stopped working in the middle of minus 20 cold spell. 48 hours after the heat went out, Direct Energy, with whom we have a service contract, left us in the cold with the prognosis of another 72 hours without heat. It was now 50 degrees F in the house and we have 2 young kids. 3 more days of this meant checking into a hotel and waiting for my pipes to burst. After a brief and terse discussion with Direct Energy, we were instructed to call anyone who could get the job done and send Direct Energy the repair bill for reimbursement. It was late on a Friday night and after a few calls to other not-helpful heating companies, I got Airworks. Chris said he would turn around on his way back to Oakville and head toward us in downtown Toronto. There was a snow-storm at the time but he made it. Where Direct Energy was unable to get the furnace going again, Chris had it going in about an hour. He returned a few days later with replacement parts and did a full repair as soon as possible. The furnace in our house is on its last legs...I know who has our business for the replacement!

The day before the March winter storm our furnace stopped,We did not have an existing contract with a gas/heating company and had heard about Airworks from this site.Chris came at the beginning of the 2 hour window, listened to my explanation of the problem, did some testing, and had the furnace running half an hour later. He also did some other tests and preventative maintanence.WOW, what great service. Chris was clean, polite, professional and fast. We will be booking all our annual maintenance with them in the future.

Our furnace stopped during a real cold spell. They were the 3rd quote & we accepted them on the spot. Chris was great in telling us exactly what we were getting. They installed the furnace the next day & were very professional & very carefull. They even swept up! We called the same night to get clarification on something & Chris came & explained everything.

They stood above the competition & we highly recomend them.

Our furnace was not functional as of late Sunday evening February 11, 2007. I had requested an appointment with Airworks the following day anytime after 6:00 p.m.
I was expecting the service technician to arrive within a 4 hour window from 6:00 p.m. but he had come at 6:20 p.m.
The service technician's name was Chris. He was polite, investigated the problem thoroughly and fixed it quickly and confidently. He also provided tips for prevention in the future. He was unlike any other service technicians I have encountered over the course of owning our home.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Chris for his professionalism and Airworks for having him as an employee.
It is because of folks such as Chris and companies like Airworks that I can say I'm proud to be a Canadian.

I contacted Airworks to replace my furnace and AC because of the great reviews on this website and I wasn't disappointed. From the start they were very professional and organized. They gave a price quote without a high pressure sales pitch and it was provided in a folder that was accompanied by a clearly written agreement, company information with references and a ton of information on the products that they use. I was able to book an appointment within days of my phone call and the installation was quick and painless. I would not hesitate to refer Airworks and plan to use them again in the future.

I had read the reviews on Airworks a few weeks ago and decided to call with some questions. I was trying to determine whether or not my gas water heater needed to be replaced. Chris Ireland was very helpful. He told me what I could do to get the best performance out of my water heater without replacing it. Now my furnace was coming on and heating, but only for a short period of time. I called and was assured someone would be at my home between 3-6pm. Chris arrived at 3pm. He was proficient, informative and honest. The problem was a blockage in the drain line for the humidifier on the furnace. He also checked a furnace part which could have been part of the problem. He said that it did not need replacing. I was very pleased over all.

Installed a new high efficiency furnace , Humidifier and Air filter. Was on time and a fast install no problems at all. A well organized crew with ample knowledge of products and skills. Used cloths to keep my house clean while doing work which I appreciate a lot because it means next to no clean up ! Will be happy to order more work when time comes.A++

Last night we had Airworks come and take a look at our furnace as it had been giving us some trouble. My wife and I were extremely happy with the entire process. The positive experience began when we were able to get a convenient evening appointment for the next day. Once Rich arrived, his professionalism was exemplary. He was knowledgeable, polite, well spoken, and customer focused. He took his time testing the furnace to ensure that only the necessary repairs were done. He made recommendations and ultimately got the furnace working properly by making the required adjustments. Overall, the service that Airworks provided last night will make it very difficult for us to go anywhere else the next time we require any service or repairs.

In the middle of the night, of course, in winter, of course, the furnace quit. We call AirWorks from the Yellow Pages because they were avail 24 hours a day. Chris came out, diagnosed the problem correctly but didn't have the required part for our particular furnace in his truck. He went to the warehouse at 2 a.m. and got the part, came back and fixed the furnace. It was expensive, a $700 call, but since that time, for maintenance calls on the air condition and furnace and gas fireplaces, the fee is $110. They don't find problems that don't exist, they don't try to sell a new furnace."

I was very pleasantly impressed with the dedication and attention to detail of all Airworks reps. From the sales person to the technicians and everyone else involved in this transaction, I always got the feeling of being looked after very responsibly.
The old furnace was cleared away, my water tank relocated, new furnace and humidifier installed nicely and in the process many other unrelated problems were taken care promply and effectively.
I didn't even have to ask for help, the crew identified the problems and took action immediately staying at it to very late hours to make sure I was pleased.
All in all, I am very happy to have found Airworks and will definitely continue to trust their service.
