I wish I had known of this company before. Our furnace stopped working in the middle of minus 20 cold spell. 48 hours after the heat went out, Direct Energy, with whom we have a service contract, left us in the cold with the prognosis of another 72 hours without heat. It was now 50 degrees F in the house and we have 2 young kids. 3 more days of this meant checking into a hotel and waiting for my pipes to burst. After a brief and terse discussion with Direct Energy, we were instructed to call anyone who could get the job done and send Direct Energy the repair bill for reimbursement. It was late on a Friday night and after a few calls to other not-helpful heating companies, I got Airworks. Chris said he would turn around on his way back to Oakville and head toward us in downtown Toronto. There was a snow-storm at the time but he made it. Where Direct Energy was unable to get the furnace going again, Chris had it going in about an hour. He returned a few days later with replacement parts and did a full repair as soon as possible. The furnace in our house is on its last legs...I know who has our business for the replacement!
