Job: - Clean dryer venting system: My dryer vent was visibly overflowing with lint all the way from the exhaust vent to the lint screen. - Replace 2nd floor external dryer vent cover: Overflowing lint had pushed the cover away from the brick (see picture). - Replace external kitchen exhaust vent cover: The plastic had become brittle on the original vent and a family of birds destroyed the vent cover and built a nest (see picture) - Replace external exhaust vent cover from basement bathroom Reliable Dryer: - communication was prompt and thorough from start to finish - Marc was on time - The work was completed as agreed and very thoroughly. The dryer is venting system is spotless and there are new vent covers outside. - Marc listened to the problem and installed metal bird-proof vents. NOTE: Unlike the original installations where the vent covers were attached using caulking only, Marc took the time to screw the vent covers to the wall. Reasonable, professional, highly recommended.

Denis mounted a 65" tv on drywall, and concealed the wires. He also cleaned up the wiring on a second tv, installed previously by someone else. - Communication was good - Denis was prompt - The installation is solid, secure, and clean Denis pays attention to the detail. He comes with a backpack of tools, including a small vacuum he used to clean up the tiny amount of dry-wall dust. When he was done, he took the time to point out to me that the TV was perfectly level, but that it wasn't quite parallel to the cabinet below because the floor is not perfectly level, making everything look slightly slanted. He then made a slight adjustment to the mount (a feature of the mount itself) to make everything look exact. I'm completely satisfied with the work and I would call Denis again.

John has done a number of jobs for my household. The most recent job was replacing a kitchen faucet with a pull-down touch faucet. John is a reliable and prompt communicator. He shows up on time, does the work well, and his work holds up. Doing business with him is straightforward, no-nonsense.

3 jobs: mounting a mailbox on a stone wall, mounting street number sign on a stone wall, and mounting an 8-foot-tall shelf unit in the bathroom. Doing business with Ross and Erik is exactly what you would want. Communication was clear and prompt, and they are up-front about everything. They were here when they said they were going to be here, the work was well-done and looks great, and they're professional and friendly. They also care about doing the job right. The baseboard was preventing the shelf unit from sitting flush against the wall, so Ross and Erik cut two small, unobtrusive notches in the shelf unit to accommodate the baseboard. Their HomeStars reputation is well-deserved.

He was on time, organized, and had a binder with proof of insurance, business license, and everything you would expect a reputable contractor to have. He is thorough, pays attention to detail, and speaks very seriously - to the point of being intense - about the quality of his product and installation. There were more decisions than I was expecting, but Igor took the time, explained the trade-offs, answered the questions, and left me feeling like we had enough information to make good choices. INSTALLATION: Three installers came to the house - exactly as scheduled - and worked all day to replace the 3 doors. Igor came at the end of the day to inspect and make sure that we were satisfied. The doors look great, and they fit and operate perfectly. Also noteworthy is that there is no longer ANY draft, and the noise from outside is significantly less. OVERALL: I am thoroughly satisfied with the product, the installation, and the experience of dealing with Igor and his people, and he'll be my first call when it's time to do the windows.
