We were building our deck this past summer, and realized (at the last moment) that it would be great if we could move the air-conditioner, to increase the size of our deck... We called Cosmopolitan, and they were the only company that didn't charge to come and provide a quote! Not only that, they were able to come within 48hrs (nobody else could do it). Fred completed the job on-time, and cleaned-up very well after moving the A/C. We only used the A/C for a couple of weeks after the move, and everything seemed okay. Look forward to using our (larger) deck, and a/c this summer!

Extremely happy with the service provided by Robert. We had a very bad experience with leaking/mouldy windows, and required an indoor air sample test to rule-out the spread of the mould. Robert came to our home the day the windows were coming-out, and returned a week later to run the tests. Very good service - would highly recommend!

John was very helpful to us, and was by far the most knowledgeable sales person to provide us with a quotation. We selected the high-end Hunter Douglas blinds, and are quite happy with our choice... Their pricing was excellent, but the delivery took a long time. That being said, John was kind enough to come to our home to install temporary blinds (paper ones) to hold us over. Would likely use them again!

We have a very old garage with a loft above. There was no way to support the garage door opener, but Steve installed a cross-beam and wired everything perfectly. This project would have taken me weeks, but Steve and his assistant were in-and-out within five hours and the system works perfectly. Steve went above-and-beyond with recommendations for improvements to our existing garage door. Would highly recommend!

We hired this company to redo our driveway asphalt. They were quick and well priced, but the follow-up regarding problems once the project was done was very poor. We have given-up trying to get them back to fix the problems...

The only company to do a comprehensive inspection, and to isolate the problem. The other companies would analyze over the phone (!) and come with a solution. Waheed came to our home and did a thorough inspection, and resolved our problems that had lasted 4 months within only 15minutes. Incredible job, problems have not recurred!

Alpine roofing was available when I needed them, and responded very quickly to quote and complete my roof (1 point). Immediate reaction: The roof looked very good, and I could tell the shingles would last for a long time. The team assigned to our home were very messy, and left an absolute pile of garbage behind after the job. They did not tarp-off the area around our home, so even today I am out picking up roofing nails and shingle pieces from our flower-beds and grass... Make sure you are clear that they need to clean-up after themselves and use tarps to cover the area surrounding the home. UPDATE: Since the install we have had a couple of leaks... They did not put flashing around our dormers, and the shingles were poorly installed near the eaves (we have had major pest problems since the new roof went on). Although they did come back for some follow-up work, we will be getting another company back to remedy their issues. Would not recommend...

I was very pleased with the price and the service received. We needed our drain/sewer scoped (with video) to put my mind at-ease before completing a landscaping project. I envisioned spending $10k+ outside, only to have to dig-up the landscaping for sewer problems!). Luckily, Mayday was able to come to our home and provide a comprehensive video-scope. The service was on-time, on-budget and delivered extremely professionally. Very good company to work with.

We hired VF Landscape after the company was recommended to us from a friend. Their quote was competitive, and they were able to meet our timelines. The workmanship was excellent (stone patio in frontyard and backyard with difficult curves). We have had some minor sinkage in a couple of spots (which Vince/Frank have been great in fixing). Great work (so good we have recommended them to neighbours and have used them again since our first install) -

We have had a few minor issues, which were eventually dealt with, but required multiple visits before finally being resolved. Overall, I am happy given the amount of money I saved over the competition. And, I am happy because I know I have a quality roof over our heads. I would recommend Alpine, however would demand better care to the property if I was to use them again.
