Wilson and his team completely renovated two full bathrooms. The job took five weeks and was on time and on budget. Wilson provided drawings as part of the quote and had creative and practical solutions to get everything I wanted into a relatively small space. I was very pleased with the result. However, when the new door fell off the hinges less than a year after the reno (installed wrong) no reply when I asked if they could come by to fix it. Haven't heard from them since and am paying someone else 200 plus to reinstall it properly. I am disappointed in the lack of customer care. You got your money.

Needed my basement clearned out and furtinure moved around for an upcoming reno. The sons were polite, professional and friendly. I had to pay for a three hour minimum and these guys were so fast they were done well ahead. When they finsihed the move they asked me what other things they could do to tfil the time...even making suggestions. I had a new piece of furniture that needed assembly and some cleanup. They did it all, and nothing was damaged. They moved my belongings into the garage and did such an amazing job of organizing I could still park the car in there. Much cheaper than a moving company and well worth it.

I have used Amazon before for a bathroom reno. This time, my basement was gutted and redone: framed, vapor barrier, insualted, new drywall, underpad, carpet, new electrical and custom milwork. Ruben did a fabulous job...on time, on budget and a quality job. He is meticulous about quality...he always picks good quality finishes and refuses to cheap out on anything. Always around to answer questions, clear and honest. Left the place spotless each day and at the end of the job. Ruben is so personable, my kids even hung out in the basement to watch and ask questions and always ran to say goodbye when he left..

I needed my basement emptied, furniture moved to other rooms and boxes to the garage. The sons were polite and enthusiastic. They finished the job in under an hour and a half but were not rushing. They were careful and meticulous. They then asked what else they could do to fill the 3 hour time slot. I had them move some other things and assemble a new piece of furniture. They were quick and they cleaned up after themselves. They were still done before the three hours were up. I will definitely use them again but make sure my list of jobs is longer; they are super efficient.

I have hired these guys to open/close my pool for a few years now. The service is good and they know their stuff. However, my pool opening is always delayed...despite paying and booking in advance. They never call and tell me they will be late and they don't keep their word. I cancelled a weekend get together now for two Victoria Day weekends because they started but did not complete the job before the weekend. How embarassing for me...stupid because I forgave them the first time around. Been burned twice and will go elsewhere for futire years.

The reviews here are so much like my experience, I thought I was reading my own reviews. This comapny built a fence for me in 2007. We booked the job in April, they wewre supposed to start June 1, they started July 1 and did not finish until the last week of August. they did hit utilities twice while digging and we did "call before you dig". This was not their fault, but whenever it happened, they stopped all work and would disappear for weeks at a time. Their sub, Robert, was excelelnt and bilit a very good fence...he even used screws when most people use nails. Rhonda was downright rude and dishonest whenever we tried to get answers from her. Avoid these people.

Steve just completed an extensive job on our home which involved significant patching, priming and specialized products. Steve moved all the furntiture and took down switch plates,draperies and hardware etc...things most painters expect the homeowner to do. He left the house spotless each day. He replaced all hardware and furniture and rehung drapes. He was on time each day, friendly and courteous. He listened to what we wanted and was able to give advice when asked. The paint job itself was perfect.

After interviewing a number of window and door companies, we settled on Ambia. They seemed the most straight-forward, honest, and easy to work with. Their onsite representative was easy to work with and conscientious. Their installer was registered with WindowWise and did a great job on the windows, doors and a patio door too. The windows were WindowCity windows and they appear very good quality and easy to operate and clean, with a decent warranty too. After our experience with Ambia, I feel we can recommend them unreservedly.

We prevously used Convertible Air five years ago at our last address in Don Mills. They installed our air conditioner then and did a great job. This job was more complicated as our house had an older plenum and it was uncertain if that too would have to be replaced. Marnie (the manager) came out and examined it and spoke to her technicians. She quoted us on both outcomes. She gave us a fair price either way. Luckily, they were able to work with our existing plenum and we were very happy with the result. Marnie kept her word about the deal, and her staff were clean, professional, and communicated issues well with us and the head office. I should add that other companies did not consider using our existing plenum and suggested we get a 2.5 ton air conditioner. In actuality, a 2 ton one was sufficient for our size house and less expensive. We were very happy with all our dealings with this company. Thanks.
