Had to replace my sliding door which came with my home. It was an old door and had blinds in between the glass, and provided no insulating ability, leaving the room cold in the winter and very warm in the summer. Happened to come across the Renewal by Anderson booth at the Taste of Lawrence Festival. I set up an appointment the day of and to date it has been a very smooth process with Renewal by Andersen. Everyone from our Sales Person/Design Consultant Kenneth, to the Project Manager, Conn, to the Installers, Juan and Jesus, were top notch. Kenneth took the time to thoroughly explain the products, was transparent about the costs and did not employ any high pressure sales tactics. We determined that we wanted to proceed with the installation. Communication was clear from start to finish, about the installation, and we were kept informed every step of the way. Conn, the Project Manager, took measurements and addressed any possible concerns/questions we had. He also contacted us the day of to advise of the specific time the installers would arrive. The door which was delivered was made to the specifications of our home. It was installed by Juan and Jesus, who arrived at the time specified, took away the old door, neatly installed the new door, cleaned up the installation area, took the time to explain the functioning of thr door and features. The employees at this company at every part of the process, are very customer focused and honestly, just nice and kind. So far very impressed.

I had my annual A/C maintenance completed today under my annual service agreement. Corey showed up within the time-frame promised and completed a very thorough review of the unit, ensuring it was in good working order. He took the time to explain his findings - everything was in good working order and made a suggestion about upgrading the thermostat and the benefits. He was also very polite and pleasant. Also, appreciated that the company contacted me to schedule this maintenance. Have used this company for all my furnace and A/C maintenace and repairs for a number of years and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I have been using Tip Top Trough now for over over 5 years. Pierce and his team are true professionals, as I have experienced from my communication with the office for estimates and invoices, to the staff who complete the on-site work, including eavestrough cleaning service. Most recently I had the eavestrough cleaned again, and as usual the team shows up as expected (office will advise when the team will stop by) and completed the cleaning very efficiently and will also advise you if there is any damage or anything you should attend to. They also ensure to leave the place very tidy, putting any debris from the cleaning in a yard waste bag and leaving at the curb for you. The only thing you will have to do is ensure that your outside water is turned on. This is the only company I have used for eavestrough cleaning services and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I noticed this week that there was a puddle of water under my laundry sink, which I though was attributable to a leak in the pipes. Given I have wooden flooring, it was priority for me to find out what was causing the leak and get it fixed as soon as possible. I called WaterWorks plumbing as I had used their service in the past and was very satisfied with the work done and their professionalism. When I called, Natasha ensured to to arrange an appointment as soon as possible, even offering to try to schedule an appointment that afternoon if there was availability. I received an appointment soon after and Michael arrived within the time frame Natasha advised. Michael quickly diagnosed the source of the leak and advised that the faucet should be replaced. Given the faucet was to be replaced, I also asked about replacing the laundry sink at the same time, which was too large for the room and replace with a smaller one. Michael was able to complete the install in a matter of a few hours sourcing all materials quickly (matter of a few minutes), picking up the materials and completing the install, which included fixing the improper plumbing quickly. You can tell that this company really cares about the work they do and their clients - wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

I have a We Care Service plan with Premi-Air Heating and Cooling. I ended up signing for this after the company did some repair work on my furnace. I have to say I am very happy that I signed up for this plan as it gives me peace of mind knowing that I have a reliable company taking care of my home's HVAC system, which was proven a few weeks ago when my furnace was not turning on. I was about to leave on vacation and needed to have the furnace looked at as soon as possible. Temmy at Premi-Air made sure that my request was passed on to the appropriate person (Alison) and an appointment was made for the same day. The technician who came was very professional and took my concerns seriously and in addition to completing a thorough inspection (as they always do) he took the time to answer any questions I had. My furnace turned out to be okay but it was nice to know that I can count on this company to provide a high level of service and be there when it counts.

I found out about Tip Top Trough on HomeStars about 4 years ago when I was searching for a company to clean the eavestrough to my home. I haven't used any other company for this service since then. They always show up at the schedule date and time, complete a thorough job and leave the place neat and tidy afterward. They also not only check your eaves but inspect them too to make sure they are in good condition. I used them last week and they always do a great job - even asked if they could spend a little more time to check out the rear area of the roof for me and see if everything was good condition as I had noticed what appeared to be condensation near the ceiling inside the home near the roof area. They didn't hesitate in accommodating my request. I would strongly recommend this company to anyone considering hiring someone to clean or install eaves system - you can trust them!

Called Waterworks after coming across their positive reviews on Homestars. Spoke with Natasha, who was courteous and professional when scheduling my appointment. She also sent an e-mail with my Plumbing Specialist, Larry's photo. Appreciated that she called early early on the day of the appointment to advise when Larry would be expected to arrive. Larry was very knowledgeable and answered all of my plumbing related inquires. I appreciated that he provided simple solutions to some of the minor plumbing issues and didn't suggest any unnecessary work. I had initially though I had a small leak somewhere in my plumbing near my bathtub but Larry advised it was due to a slight slope in the bathtub causing water to collect in one corner. The water was collecting there and due a leak in the glass door track leaking, would drip onto the floor in one area of the bathroom - I was then able to fix myself with a bit of caulking. Larry fixed my bathtub faucet and cleared the drain (it wasn't clogged but slow moving) and did both jobs very neatly. I appreciated that they had all of the parts needed for the repair in their truck and were able to fix everything. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Waterworks and Larry again - they did a great job and I really appreciate the time taken to answer any plumbing related questions. Natasha was also great, calling after my appointment to confirm if I was satisfied with everything - which I was.

After having my roof redone - complete strip all wood, installation of soffits, vents, new gutters, etc. this past August, noticed what looked like condensation forming in inside the home, at the corners of ceiling and along the edges of the perimeter of the house. The attic previously was not very well ventilated, there were very few soffits and limited ventilation, so there was now more air circulation in the attic. Called the contractor who complete the work but they were not very helpful, just advised that the house was "too humid" and "turn the heat down". I've lived in the house the past 4+ years and had the temperature in the home the same. I've never had this occur condensation issue previously. I called Mr. Roof repair as I was concerned. They made an appointment to come and complete an assessment of the roofing system - upon my first phone call I could tell they were knowledgeable about the complete roofing and attic system, not just roofing and shingling. They came on schedule and completed the inspection efficiently, they had one person complete an outside assessment and another complete an inspection of the attic. They provided a report outlining the state of the roof and attic - any deficiencies are noted and a quotation for repairs is also provided. I have to say I felt reassured that my roofing issue would be remedied after speaking with them. If you are experiencing roofing/attic issues and want guidance from an team with experience and knowledge of roofing and attic system, I would recommend obtaining a roof assessment from Mr. Roof Repair - it will definitely put your mind at ease.

I used Tip top Trough this past Spring to clean my eavestroughs, they showed up at the time/date promised, were professional, efficient and left the place neat, placing all debris in a yard waste bag for us. The person who completed the cleaning also suggested that we add a second downspout due to the length of the home as he mentioned there could be water spurting out of the eaves. I didn't initially think to add the second downspout but upon heavy rainfall I noticed he was right, water was spurting out of the sides of the eaves and causing water to fall near the sides of the home near the foundation. I called them again and arranged for a second downspout to be installed. Again, they showed up at the date/time agreed and did an efficient and neat job. I would definitely recommend them for their professionalism and the fact they get the job right the first time. Also, dealing with Pierce was very easy. He provides a prompt response and answers any questions you may have.
