Action was recommended to me by one of my team mates when I was inquiring about AC this past summer. The sales guy was very helpful and informative of what options were required and in co-ordinating an appointment time for the installation. The installers came in and installed the AC unit. They did leave a bit of a mess and some unfinished wall repairs that I had to call about and it took them a couple of months to fix. Otherwise, happy with the unit and ability to call for follow up service and questions.

My wife had scheduled a furnace cleaning after confirming an estimate on costs and deciding on a cleaning package. The technicians came on time to do the work and completed the work quickly. I was disappointed though in the communication between the appointment booking team and technicians as there was a constant upselling of cleaning packages and products right from the minute one of the technicians came in. Trusting that they were there to service and make appropriate recommendations, I agreed to the services to later find out there was quite a discrepancy in the estimate from the actual charge. Explaining this to their team at the office, they worked towards making sure that I would be happier about the experience by reversing some of the charges and even calling me directly to clarify my negative experience post-review. The services delivered were completed in a timely manner, they provide a good service and are willing to make the client happy, however, the upselling style of their technician was not appreciated. I originally gave these guys a 5, but edited this review to give them a 7 to show my appreciation for the quick follow-up from Blake after I posted my initial review and taking the time to hear me out and ask what else they could do to improve the rating. That's good follow-up and customer service in my opinion.

Our builder works with Cartwright Lighting and we were instructed to make our light selections here. The service we received was ok. Our consultant was helpful with our choices, but seemed hurried. Appointments are made so that we can have the undivided attention of a consultant, however, it seemed like she was working on 10 other projects at the same time and could not have us out of there soon enough.

After noticing that the carpet in our new home was easy to snag - we contacted Dannburg to find out why this was. After they came out to inspect our carpet - there was no hesitation in informing us that all the carpet had to be replaced because it came from a defective batch. Hearing this, we were concerned about the inconvenience of having to move all our furniture around, etc. However, they took care of moving all the furniture and were very efficient at replacing the carpet. Their team was very cautious about moving all the furniture and the installation went very well. 6 rooms and stairs were completed in just under 5 hours !!! What started as a negative impression of the company turned out very positive !

We heard about this company through some friends and called them to install a few screens in our new home. We were given a quote and decided to do the installation that day - the whole process took just over an hour to install two screens. The installer was very personable and was quick to answer questions regarding maintenance, etc. The product works great and we were very happy with our decision to use this company.

Alan designed and developed our basement in 2009 which included a theatre room, bedroom, full bathroom and storage room. We were very impressed with his attention to detail and creativity in designing a plan to fit all our needs into a challenging space. His subcontractors were also a pleasure to work with and Alan made sure that they were on top of things. The project was finished within the time promised and on budget. I have recommended him to many friends and colleagues and have even hired him for some other commercial projects. We would certainly look for his services again on future projects.
