I can't say enough good things about the staff in this store; I have been in several times to both plan my interior painting and also to purchase paint samples (more than once). I'm having difficulty finding the right shades to compliment the wood and other finishes in my home, and the owner as well as the staff I interacted with are extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend this store to anyone who needs assistance in choosing their paint colours.

I recently purchased a new queen set at sleep country in Burlington. The store is quite small and they didn't have as many display models as I would have liked (they had most of the tempurpedic which is what I had originally been interested in). The sales staff seemed knowledgeable and were pretty helpful. I am not sure if I would go to this location again, simply due to the size. Overall pleased with the purchase.

I was very pleased with the thorough home inspection we received from Michael. He was very knowledgeable, took his time and answered our questions along the way. We received a detailed report including recommendations of urgent fixes vs those that could be done over time. I wouldn't hesitate recommending 4sight to anyone looking for a friendly and highly knowledgeable home inspector.

Fairly pleased with a purchase of a large wood coffee table and end table- both Mission style. The staff at the store were very friendly and helpful. My coffee table came with several nicks and scratches, and they switched it out no problem. Unfortunately so did the replacement, but they were not ordering any more from the supplier so I was stuck with it, but given a discount. Slightly disappointed that it could not be replaced, plus it was put together so that one of the legs faces the wrong way. It is very creaky because of this. Noteworthy: their warehouse/ storage had lots of other pieces not in their Danforth shop, worth taking a look at. Customer service was better than quality of my purchase, so would probably shop here again.

I was searching for so long to find a quality futon frame that did not look like it belonged in a dorm room. I was so pleased with the selection and quality of wood futon frames here. I selected a pine frame (less expensive than some of the hard woods), but the frame was so thick and sturdy I did not think twice. I am sure it will last many years. Sales staff was friendly and knowledgeable, although the gentleman who helped me was a bit pushy when I didn't buy on my first visit. When I went back to purchase I dealt with someone else. Would definitely recommend.

I used this moving company when I moved from my condo to a house, and needed to put some extra things in a storage locker; I chose Two Small Men With Big Hearts to do just the move into the storage locker. I booked about 2 months ahead, and the person I spoke to did a bit of 'dealing', waived the fuel tax and gave me a price, to which was below the other quotes I had received, so I agreed. The day of the move came, and at 9:00 when no one had showed (we were booked for 8am) of course I called. I got an apology and assurance the crew was on their way. When they arrived, this was not a professional moving crew, it was two teenagers with no supervision. This was not what I was promised, so called AGAIN. 6 hours later (I had to be at home in case they showed up) 2 guys finally arrived and were in a foul mood. The entire experience was horrible, they broke a table, a mirror and scratched another table, and ended with 'forgetting' the discounts that had been told to me. The kicker- I forgot to get my receipt, and went over to their truck where they were sitting smoking a joint. I can usually find some positive redeeming quality in a company and never write a flat our horrible review, however this is an exception: I would NEVER recommend this moving company.

Overall I have been pleased with my New Monarch Built house, however there have been some deficiencies as the house settles (less than one year old) and Monarch has been great about getting them fixed. They had to take up the entire hallway carpet in order to fix the floors squeaking (this is something the home builder in my last house did not do). and they were in and out in a couple of hours. While the crew was there, they fixed a couple of odds and ends such as the stoppers in the toilet tanks, which were leaking, and that was great we didn't have to make a separate call. I plan to say in my Monarch home for a long time, and I would recommend to anyone looking to buy a new home to consider this builder and construction.

This was a significant investment for my house, and I researched companies very thoroughly before selecting one. I had a patterned concrete driveway poured/ installed for my double driveway. it was a huge job, and the crew seemed very professional and knowledgeable. I know this driveway will last for 20+ years (hence why I selected concrete), and I have no reservations about the quality of work.

I had hired this company to do an inspection for a fairly new home. So, not expecting a lot of problems to be found, but wanted to be safe. I was very pleased with the professionalism and thoroughness of our inspector. I had selected the lower tier inspection (because the home was so new). I would recommend Holme's Inspections, and would use again in the future.

Structube used to be one of my favourite stores- very modern furniture and pieces you could not find anywhere else. I have found recently since they have opened several other locations, that for whatever reason their selection is not as unique as it was in the past. Most recently I purchased a dining room table and parsons chairs, and although they were not necessarily different from other stores, I do feel that they are excellent quality and they are modern with clean lines, like most of their furniture. The sales people are hit and miss I find- some great. and very helpful, while others have been borderline rude when I have been in there. My review is therefore mixed; I love some of the furniture these days, and when the staff are having a good day, it is a great experience. I might shop here again, but because of the inconsistency likely only if I could not find what I was looking for anywhere else.

I recently found out that the Home Hardware stores have furniture stores as well, under the banner "Home Furniture". I was shopping for a comfy family room couch, and was not having a lot of luck at the department stores or big box stores, so I decided to take a look at Home Furniture. t I ended up purchasing my couch at the location in Kitchener. The sales staff were very knowledgeable and helpful, and there were many different models on display. I got an amazing deal for the quality of the furniture- the stores are franchised so they may have different prices at each location. They had a promo for $300 off, plus no tax that weekend. I felt the shipping cost was way too high, but I couldn't complain with the deal I got. I couldn't be happier with the sofa (all Canadian made), and I will go back there for any other furniture purchases in the future. I HIGHLY recommend!

Last week I discovered water leaking in my basement (just a bit through a very obvious cracking in the wall, not a flood). I used the crack doctor (gotta love the name) to fix the leak. Very impressed with the workmanship- the fellow was friendly and worked fast. The only negative thing I could say is that he arrived almost 3 hours later than I was told he would, so right at dinner time (and he parked in the middle of my two car driveway so my dinner guests could not park in the driveway). Overall minor inconveniences that would likely happen with most contractors. Would hire again from here.

I am not too impresed with the quality in some areas of my Mattamy home. It seems like they have really cut corners past the point of reasonableness. For example, my floors squeak horribly because the builders put too much space between the nails to save $ on materials; I found this out when I looked into the cost of fixing the floors! The house is 3 years old and the foundation has cracks, and the front steps are falling apart, which in my opinion is reflective of poor quality and/ or workmanship. I will stay clear of moving to another Mattamy built home.

I went into the Brick last week intending to purchase a Whirlpool top loader HE washer and steam dryer, and some new lighting. I had a hard time finding someone to speak to in the appliances section, and when I did they were extremely unprofessional and unhelpful. They pretty much told me to go to another store when I mentioned the price I had been quoted there. SO... this put me right off of purchasing my appliances here, however I had already selected a pair of lamps steeply discounted and did continue with that purchase. I would not go back to the Brick for anything I could purchase at another "big box" store- I have had much better experiences elsewhere.

I just started to shop at the Water Depot, and am glad I finally made the switch. My family drinks a ton of water (tap and bottles), so we go through about 3-4 bottles a month. I purchased a package- the more you purchase up front, the more you save. It is easy to go into the store and fill up- the owner is super friendly and helpful; if I am on my own he will help me carry the bottles to my car as I can only carry one at a time.

I was very pleased with the quality and care of my home inspection. When you are relying heavily on a professional to find even the smallest of issues before finalizing your home purchase, it is important to trust the company you are using. I would recommend ClearView Home Inspections.

Had a fabulous experience with Tender Touch Moving; moving is stressful enough without having to worry about the movers breaking things, or working slowly. The crew did a great job, and I would recommend this company.
