A problem with slider from 3 years ago developed....Tony responded quickly and without question and arranged for firstly lock company and then door company to come out and examine....fortunately a quick fix without complaint, question or cost. Great service Tony ...thanks

We had Ambia Windows and Doors install a new front door, several windows and 2 patio doors. In our dealings with Tony we found him to be honest and forthright. He addressed our questions and was helpful with decision making. There was a high level of communication between the sales person, Tony, and the installers. It was evident that there is a mutual respect and unified commitment to doing high level installations. Tato, the lead installer, is highly skilled. When the new patio doors were installed there was a gap in the hardwood floor that was previously covered by the old doors. Tato was able to use our extra flooring to fill the gap and it looks seamless. The entire process was a positive experience with good people. We are more than happy with our beautiful new windows and doors

This company which previously was reliable has fallen dramatically in the quality of service. We have been members of their HAP program for several years...they offer 24/7 service as part of the plan....On friday May 17 we discovered a leak in the basement from the humidifer attached to the furnace...the saddle valve was seized and the only way to stop the water was to shut it off. A call went in and we were told they could not get to us for 7 days...they were busy!!!! really so we had no water for the weekend until we could find someone else. A call to Mgr. Murphy on the Tuesday resulted in big apologies....we are sorry this will never happen again....give us a chance to prove ourselves....okay fine....This Thursday another unrelated leak in the basement...something under the sink is leaking and it is wet above and below...this time we did shut the valve off...we called and Murphy says....very busy Friday....but for sure ...for sure...absolutely someone will be there Saturday afternoon.....Saturnday at 1pm someone calls and says no one is coming.....impossible I say...get Murphy on the line. Cannot do that ...he is not working today.....Enough said....terrible service...so much for 24/7 service. We ARE DONE J and S.

We noticed deteriorating and crumbling clay brick under our 19 yr old home. Mario came out to give an assessment and recommended replacing brick with man made stone as it would be difficult to match brick....We looked at options and Mario came back and finalized job. Within a week he and his colleague Nick attended and completed the work. The work was done professionally and we are most pleased with the result. Both were very polite and answered all questions. The repair of the steps was done to perfection and even addressed some concerns not in the contract. Cleanup was perfect as if they had never been present. Highly recommend Mario to anyone else with similar problem.

Many thanks to Spencer and his crew. We needed some light tree and bushes work and some serious hedge pruning done. Additionally I asked if he could help us with distributing black mulch to our gardens as this is a very time consuming job for ourselves. He willingly obliged and his crew arrived on time and were very cheery and eager to please despite a very cool morning. Hedge looks great and cleanup was done professionally. Spencer was a pleasure to deal with, upfront and no surprises. We will ask them to come back next year for sure.

on a friday night...all of sudden a line to the humidifier burst and water was everywhere.....we turned off water and called a plumber....they came out and failed to fix the problem....since it was a water/heating problem...I found an invoice from prior owner for Unionville Heating and called to leave a message on the Sunday....suprised to get an answer...arranged for them to come Monday afternoon....Eric arrived and quickly he resolved the problem....replaced the old plastic line with a copper line to the humidifier and replaced the failed saddle valve which also had failed as a backup turn off mechanism. Shocking that a plumber could neither stop the leak, replace the saddle valve or offer real assistance. Thank you Eric for your assistance and professionalism.

Called for a plumber....line to humidifier leaking...plumber came said he needs parts....but could stop leak for the weekend and someone would call monday with a quote for the fix....after he left and we waited as requested for repair to dry....leak just as bad....called to have them come back....was told parts needed....i said we have no water....the fix did not work....they then hung up on me....i checked the visa account and saw a higher charge than stated on invoice,,,no explanation for that....called 2 times monday about quote and charges....no call back....

We have a plan with J and S...so a heating and plumbing inspection is included... Mike R. came out today and was extremely pleasant and informative....We have a had a hammer noise from the kitchen hot water and Mike spent considerable time trying to remedy the issue..and was for the most part successful in doing so.....He seemed to take great pride in satisfying the customer....very refreshing....thanks Mike...

We decided to purchase a hot tub for our new home; our hardware store suggested Mead for the electrical.....they came out ...looked at the job and issued a quote. After tub delivered there were complications and hours of work needed were almost doubled; we offered to increase fee, but no, they said they issued quote and would stand by it. Work done was excellent and cleanup outstanding and the team was very pleasant and happy to do the work as promised. Highly recommend Mead Electric.

We had a leaking basement window, and upstairs windows that were dated. The motto of the company is quality, integrity and value. They lived up to these esteemed goals and I would throw in professionalism. Very pleasant to deal with and content to answer related issue questions. Clean up after the job was excellent.

Our story commences with a leak from the dishwasher which caused damage to the basement room underneath; we had several opinions re mold damage which suggested there was no issue; we brought Tony in who commenced a very thorough inspection, starting with the kitchen, which led to the kitchen attic; mold was visible....the investigation continued to the main roof and attic where improper venting had caused condensation and mold growth; further inspection of the roof with photos provided by Tony showed gaps and inadequate flashing around the chimney and attics; again more mold in the attic and in the basement where the water had seeped in. I have to say I am disappointed with both prior investigators and prior roofers whose work I will simply say was less than adequate. Tony and his crew are very hard workers who worked in all kinds of weather to complete the job as indicated. Tony was there throughout as an overseer, takes great pride in his end product which no doubt has led to his high ratings on this site; we are thankful for homestars and the opportunity to find helpful and reliable reviews and service

We didn’t have much experience with furniture restoration before we encountered TMC Restoration’s display recently. After signing up for our free estimate an Estimator came to our home and discussed the many options available. This is a company with decades of experience and I have to say that our refinishing needs were well met by the team in Brampton. We hope that this table is now nicely re-finished will remain in our family for a long time; we purchased it at an antique show some 18 yrs ago and wear and tear took its toll; it is once again a great piece of furniture... With TMC Restoration, it's all about attention to detail and it was a pleasure doing business with them.

Richard replied quickly and came out to give us an estimate. Having agreed upon details and price, Rick arrived as promised on time for materials for me to prep, per our agreement. Rick arrived on the installation day on time and work effectively and efficiently producing a fine professional job. We would recommend his service without hesitation to others.

We were extremely pleased with the quote, timing and work completed by Richard. The moldings installed are perfect and done with no disruption to our home. Richard was very accommodating in our request to prepaint the materials which he delivered ahead of time as a courtesy to us. He used extra materials to complete a separate project at no charge. He is dynamic, industrious and polite . We highyly recommend him and look forward to having him back again soon. He is a credit to his industry. He is a 10 plus!
