Fortress Windows & Doors

Our experience with Fortress Windows was nothing short of EXCELLENT! From the initial visit, preparing the quote, discussing the whole process was seamless. Their pricing is amazing and their services are the best. We met Steve at first and then we met Steve and Steve to finalize the installation. We have an older house with many windows and all the work performed was immaculate. We have already recommended their services to our friends and family. One of the most important aspect is that they are a family owned local business, fully Canadian. Their product is superior to the others and their service unparalleled. If we ever need these type of services again we will only contact Fortress. They were very accommodating, professional and delivered on their promises. Their installers were also very hard working and took great pride in ensuring the work performed not only met but exceeded our expectations. They are the BEST.

Steve is 100% hard working, provides quality workmanship and ensures he is getting to the root of the problem. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

For the quotation - Steven has described exactly what will be done without trying to sell me anything extra, which does not really have to be done (like most of other quotes I received). Steven provided quotation with all the details, as I requested, covering everything materials, labour and any potential damages that they would fix at no additional cost.
Max, the installer, was just amazing - very meticulous in taking measurements to having the installation done. Max pays attention to every detail and the job that he had done, including aluminum capping, was the best I have ever seen over many years in having house maintenance. There was a little defect (pinch in the patio door sealant, inside) that I noticed after the installation - Steven had attended to it right after I told him and arranged for service within days (which has already been completed)

This is the third time that we have used Fortress Doors and Windows and the third time that we have been completely satisfied with the service. Steve and Richard did a wonderful job. Richard fixed our upstairs bathroom window that was not draining properly that had become a problem during the heavy rainstorms we have had over the past couple of weeks. Steve replaced some flashing on our house gable that had been ripped off during a severe windstorm and he sealed off the underneath of our deck between the wall and the wood joists to prevent bees from returning and nesting in our basement wall. Both Stephen and Steve are very friendly and easy to deal with and the workmanship is excellent. I strongly recommend them to anyone looking for windows or window related or siding related repairs.

All our windows were done by Steven and his team and we could not be happier!! As many know it can be hard to find people you trust to do work on your home so we have asked around for 2 years now. When we met with Steven we had a feeling that we would not only be taken care of with the quality of the product but also by a good human being and we were relieved to see that this was true throughout the whole process. We are so grateful that he has restored our faith in the industry. If you talk with him you will know what we are talking about. A great person with great values and great products. Steve and Richard from Fortress are always there when you need them! Came out within 2 days to install new flashing and caulking to prevent leaking above a sliding glass door. Great workmanship and great customer service everytime!

I would say they did excellant workmanship with providing top grade windows, and also follow up closely until all window completion. I connected with Fortress a few years ago as we started home improvements. In this time, Fortress has installed three entry doors and four windows in my home and I cannot speak highly enough about the experience. Richard has been so easy to communicate with, he was informative, patient, and made it clear from the start that he was more concerned with me getting what I want/need than rinsing me for more money - instantly built my trust and never broke it. His team of installers were all fantastic, they delivered their projects on time and showed creativity and intelligence in the installation, overcoming challenges that presented themselves along the way in my older home. The team always cleaned up after themselves and offered suggestions for how to improve the functionality and efficiency of my home, very clearly just wanting what was best for me. The team was flexible and adaptable to my own situation and the issues that come along with installing windows and doors in an old house where nothing is square or level.
