New potlight installation - electrician was great

I had a popcorn ceiling removed a couple of weeks ago and decided to use that as an opportunity to replace some very old pot lights. I required two visits from an electrician: one to remove the old pot lights before the plasterer did his work; and one to install the new pot lights after the ceiling was plastered. Reliance did a fabulous job. They were sensitive to the plasterer coordination issue and scheduled the two electrician visits in the exact windows I had requested. That made life a lot easier. Richard, the electrician, arrived on time for both appointments, answered my questions and did an excellent job. I highly recommend him and Reliance and would not hesitate to refer them to friends and family.

Furnace

Stay away from reliance, worst company to do business with. They were charging me 140+tax a month for a furnace and ac rental on a 7 year contract. Worst investment ever. Bought a brand new furnace and ac for 6000. Reliance is terrible.

New Water Heater

Big shout out to ERIK. After waiting 2 days for someone to come and look at our water heater because we had no hot water, Erik came to the rescue. Someone else came before him, said we needed a new tank and then took off. Called Reliance and they said someone would be there the next day, but couldn't tell us when because their system was down. Then ERIK called and said he would look at it. He agreed that we needed a new tank, called his buddy who delivered the tank within half an hour. It was installed immediately. We didn't have to wait until the next day, and thoroughly enjoyed hot water again. Great job ERIK!

Furnace over heating

The technician trouble shot the furnace and thermostat to determine source of problem. Thermostat found to be defective. Technician was helpful and explained all issues and options. Chose to replace thermostat

Waterheater

Multiple instances of the water heater failing over the past week. Took 3 different technicians coming on three different days to figure it out, but ultimately it is working. Although frustrated with the situation, all technicians were courteous and efficient, and response to service request was prompt.

New furnace

Old furnace gave out on a Monday night. Called immediately. Technician came on Tuesday and analyzed situation, advised new furnace needed. By Wednesday, noon, new furnace quickly, efficiently and effectively installed and up and running, warming our once chilly home. Most appreciative.

Hot water tank

Wes provides Excellent friendly service and was
Quick To diagnosis the problem and replace the entire unit. We were worried about the service because it was a Sunday , but it all worked out beyond our expectations .

Tim was great!

'Tim' was here to give us a quote on a tankless hot water heater. He was polite, friendly, didn't push for a sale and was a pleasure to deal with. Very nice guy :)
(I did not pay for the visit but had to put $1 to get this to work.)

pushed us to sign up for protection plan and provided false info

in order to make a sale, customer service sold us the monthly protection plan and promised diagnostic fee upon visit is free of charge regardless of whether we go with the repair. it was not the case. we got hit of the diagnostic the following bill of our protection plan cancellation. called in multiple times before they charged us, including when we cancelled the plan, over the phone we were ensured there would be no fee charged. nobody informed us of the fee. false advertising, false promises, so sale-oriented that they only care about making a sale instead of giving consumers the right information. a company to avoid.
