We were referred to Owen of Wamboldt Heating and Air Conditioning and contacted him to set up a time to meet and discuss options for a new replacement hot water tank. He was very accommodating and met us the next day and from the day we met until the day he completed the job, he was always polite, professional and very personable. He is so knowledgeable in his work and gave us recommendations and options based on what we required. He answered all of our questions and provided us with some quotes that evening. He did an excellent job with the removal of the tank and installation of the new one. He even took the time to leave the old tank in our garage so that it was easily accessible for the pickup. He left the work area clean and the tank working perfectly. He followed-up with us to ensure everything was to our liking and that the water was heated up nicely. He also took the time to explain the warranty and let us know that he’s always available if we need anything at all.

Owen really cares about his work and takes pride in what he does and above all he cares that his customers are happy with the work and services he provides. My furnace was having issues consistently blowing warm air and would actually blow cold air from time to time. I reached out to Owen based on his great reviews on Homestars. He got back to me right away, scheduling a time to come by the next day, and also provided me with some things to try in the meantime. After his visit he followed up with me to ensure everything was working properly. A few days later the furnace wasn't quite right. He came at 11pm and within 30 minutes had everything working. He once again followed up after his visit to ensure everything is still fine, which it still is to this day.

He's the real deal and lives up to his 97% rating. He's got my ongoing business.

Owen replaced my furnace for me (and will be replacing my A/C once the weather is nicer), and I couldn’t be happier with my decision to go with Wamboldt Heating and A/C.

I shopped around for quotes, and was very impressed with Owen’s attention to detail when determining the appropriate sized unit for my house. He is clearly very knowledgeable (he answered all of my questions and explained his recommendations very well - far more compelling than any of the other quotes I received, and at a better cost!). Scheduling was easy and installation all went as planned. He and his colleague were very pleasant, professional, and tidied up well. Owen also took care to remind me that I have a full parts and labour warranty, and to call if ever I have an issue — and not to feel badly about it, even if it’s the middle of the night. Everything works great. I did follow up with a question about my thermostat settings, and Owen was quick to respond (and even offered to come by to check it out in person). He even followed up with me to ensure his suggestion worked (it did).

I have already recommended Wamboldt Heating and A/C to my friends and neighbors, and would call them in a heartbeat for any future HVAC needs.

We contacted Owen asking if he could come and inspect our duct work and furnace to diagnose the root cause.
After spending a few hours thoroughly inspecting both our ductwork and furnace, it was determined that our furnace was running too hot. Owen gave us alternative options to replacing the furnace and was very knowledgeable and honest, which is rare these days.
We asked Owen to replace the furnace and a section of our duct work. Owen continued researching our issue between our agreement and the scheduled date to replace the furnace and ducts. He contacted us and suggested we use ductseal instead of replacing the section of duct work, which saved us about 500$ and could have been more money in Owen’s pocket. Again, the honesty and trustworthy advice was very appreciated and made us feel very comfortable with Owen replacing our furnace.
Owen’s work was thorough, he cleaned the site as if he was never there and promptly followed up to ensure we were completely satisfied.
Owen will now be our dedicated HVAC contractor.

I contacted Owen for a problem with my central air conditioning. Owen showed up on time the following morning and had the good thinking of bringing a couple of replacement blowers in case that would end up being the problem, and it was. He also checked the AC unit gas pressure and added the required quantity of gas.
Owen was punctual, well-mannered and very efficient doing the repair work. No doubt he knows his stuff and I have no hesitation to rate his work at a 10!

I called Owen for an A/C repair and I was really impressed. He was friendly and professional, prompt in communication, punctual, and did an excellent job. He explained what the problem was and needed to be done to resolve it. His estimates were quite competitive compared to some I received from larger companies.
I was quite pleased with his work and have already scheduled a furnace maintenance service with Owne, and some duct work as I well.
