I would not recommend Mcara Energy to anyone looking. 3 missed appointments, constant issues with bringing the wrong equipment so job could not be completed or even started etc. One appointment was missed for a higher paying job, which threw us off a lot as that what was said to us directly. Sourced better deals elsewhere, definitely stay away. Not worth your head ache.

We had McAra Energy install a new furnace and air conditioner in our home and, based on our experience, we would definitely not recommend this company. McAra Energy claim to be “Calgary’s Most Trusted Heating and Cooling Company”, but how they conducted themselves in our particular case can only be described as anything but … Our McAra experience included unfulfilled promises and commitments, having to have work done twice, appointments cancelled on short notice, phone calls and emails not returned, and having to pay for unnecessary expenses. In the end McAra could not be bothered to get back to us so that we could schedule annual winter servicing on our furnace. We were forced to look for another HVAC company, which we did, and which we are very happy with.

Our kitchen Reno contractor installed uninsulated flex pipe and attached it using duct tape to the roof (needless to say not to code). Chris helped me out by giving a quick quote, allowed me to save cost by taking my own scoping pictures in the attic and roof to see what work needed to be done. On job day, Nick and Brian came exactly as scheduled and got the job done in an hour. Hood fan CFM instantly improved by 50% as well as peace of mind that everything is insulated and properly secured. Needless to say I will be calling McAra for my future HVAC needs.

The products and service provided by Mcara energy were second to none. Real professionalism from the start to finish. Not only was I satisfied with the workmanship and attention to detail, but also the kindness of the employees. Great company that offers top of the line products at a fair price. When I called Mcara energy to get my furnace looked at before we turned it on I was hoping they would at least show up in the next day, it was cold out! But after explaining my situation even though it was late in the evening they came over within the hour, amd were very friendly and professional. By the time the technician left I felt as if we knew each other and warm because of my furnace.

I personally dealt with Chris when I had my furnace installed and when I purchased my furnace through him he answered my many questions with great knowledge and the process that everything would go through he explained to me what would be the best furnace for my house and worked out the best cost for my application and when it came time to do the furnace tune up I called him and made an appt and he was able to come right away and do the tune for a cost that was very reasonable I highly recommend him for all you have needs and installs

Called & inquired about a quote for a ductless mini-split. The staff was friendly, Informative & prompt. I decided on the appropriate model & went ahead with the installation. The installers were friendly & respectful of my home putting down mats in their work area. The installation was done excellent & done within the time frame quoted. I would recommend mcara energy to anyone looking for a professional, respectful company.
