In October 2019 we replaced our furnace and air conditioner using the services of another local HVAC company but we encountered a number of installation and warranty issues. In early 2021 we contacted Distinct Heating, another York dealer, and Distinct were able to correct the installation and warranty issues. Since that time we have relied exclusively on Nates team at Distinct for our annual furnace and AC servicing. The work performed by Distinct is always very professional, done right the first time and their pricing is very competitive. Our only regret is not having gone with Nate and his Distinct team do the initial supply and installation. Without any reservations we would recommend Distinct Heating & Cooling for furnace and air conditioner replacement, and servicing.

We had McAra Energy install a new furnace and air conditioner in our home and, based on our experience, we would definitely not recommend this company. McAra Energy claim to be “Calgary’s Most Trusted Heating and Cooling Company”, but how they conducted themselves in our particular case can only be described as anything but … Our McAra experience included unfulfilled promises and commitments, having to have work done twice, appointments cancelled on short notice, phone calls and emails not returned, and having to pay for unnecessary expenses. In the end McAra could not be bothered to get back to us so that we could schedule annual winter servicing on our furnace. We were forced to look for another HVAC company, which we did, and which we are very happy with.
