Met Ash owner of Fair Deal Heating & Air Conditioning 2 years ago when he replaced my water heater to a tankless. I was very happy with the service he provided then and I knew that I would be saving his number for my future HVAC needs. Low and behold this pass Saturday my Google Nest thermostat threw an error at me: e74 and I started my detective work using google. I performed all the simple and doable services i.e. changing the filter, making sure the drain wasn't clogged, and the furnace door was closed properly, hoping that something simple tripped the furnace. As I was looking around I found the furnace board and it was flashing an error code at me. I googled that and found it could be a pressure switch issue or a blown motor. So I've reached the end of my investigating and decided to call in the expert. I texted Ash around 10pm and within half an hour I received a text back that he would come by tomorrow morning to take a look. The next morning Ash came by to check my furnace out despite it being Diwali and he was missing some family time. It didn't take long for him to conclude that the safety on my furnace has tripped because of a blown motor. The cost of replacing the motor and considering the age of my furnace it was an easy decision to just get a new one. Ash laid out all my options from repairing it to all the different choice of furnaces that I can choose from. He was very upfront and explained things very well. By Monday morning he and his crew came and dismantled my old furnace and had the new one in up and running within 4-5 hours. Never knew how much I took a warm home for granted. I can't thank Ash enough for his quick turn around so my family has a warm home to sleep in again. I would not hesitate to recommend Ash to any of my friends and family for their HVAC needs. This is our third dealing with Fair Deal Heating. When it comes to heating services, Ash and his team is very knowledgeable and professional. Ash always gives best professional advice and delivers service at a very reasonable price. He has replaced furnaces at my property and another one at my brother's house also. Very neat, clean work and delivered on time. Even after the furnace installation he called me a few times to make sure that everything was working perfect and gave me important maintenance tips to make the furnace life longer. We had hired contractors to renovate my senior mother's house. As part of that renovation, we had a new Hot Water Tank installed. It never worked correctly from day one, but all our complaints fell on deaf ears. Well, the contractor walked out on us, not finishing the job that they were paid to complete. Trying to get the original subcontractor to come out and provide service to the product they supplied also proved to be unsuccessful.

Thankfully, I found Fair Deal Heating and Air Conditioning. Ash came out on Sunday, replaced the gas valve control unit, and also took the time to fix up the other contractors DIY-style install.

Ash was kind, courteous, and a true professional through and through. I couldn't have asked for a better transaction.

In fact, let me just also say how Ash has gone the extra mile. The part that I needed to be replaced was under warranty. Ash arranged for me to pay for the part, and he has taken care of all the forms that are necessary to help me get my refund. Now, here is where the extra mile comes in. Ash took the initiative to contact the supplier after a few days to inquire what is taking so long to have this refunded. I didn't even have to say anything, he just did it on his own. It is very rare to find someone so caring enough about their customers these days.

Fair Deal Heating and Air Conditioning is now the only call I will make when it comes to my water heater, furnace, and air conditioner.

After many years of debating whether to replace our old hot water tank, or purchase one, we decided on the latter. I researched this at length. The old tank came with our home, and was a monthly rental. It was nearing the end of its life, and I made several calls to inquire about the process for a pickup.

We decided on Fair Deal after reading many positive reviews on the home forums. I had recommended Ash and his team to my in-laws last year. Ash was very responsive to all my texts and emails. The installation team showed up on time, and more importantly, were professional and courteous. We had our own padding and tarp to protect our floors and walls, but the team took care not to damage our home.

The tank wasnt in the correct position (to code), and Ash charged a minimal fee to correct this and realign the plumbing. The installation took a few hours, and they moved our old tank to a corner of the garage for pickup.

There was a small misunderstanding on the final bill, and I actually overpaid. Ash called and said he would be refunding me the amount via E-transfer. Its so refreshing to find an honest, reliable, and professional installer.

I highly recommend Fair Deal for any of your HVAC or hot water tank requirements.

My A/C wasn't working - I contacted Fair Deal based on their reviews and got a response from Ash soon after. 2 techs came by the same day and quickly diagnosed and fixed my problem, and charged a reasonable price. I highly recommend them and will be going back to them for any future issues.
