We purchased from what I thought was knowledgeable appliance store a microwave and trim kit as we renovated our kitchen so it would look like a built in. Our contractor built the space to the exact specs and we were ready to go. The trim kit stainless steel colour is not the same, and the gaps around the microwave are 3/4 of an inch on both sides so it looks like we stuck a microwave randomly between a frame. It is awful. I went back to Corbeil and the first line was well you purchased it more than a week ago. Yes because I ordered it ahead of time and just opened the box due to reno's. Then they made me go to the support team which was fine and I got a call back saying the correct microwave was ordered for the correct trim kit not addressing any of the issues and that was the end of the conversation. I am now going to call the actual company that makes the appliance and trim to see what, if anything, can be done. I wish I had read all of these reviews before I purchased anything as I would never have gone there. Thank goodness we ordered all the other appliances for the kitchen elsewhere. DO NOT SHOP THERE! all they want is to sell you appliances and they do not help or explain anything about the products because if i had been explained any of this I would have chosen something else. Save yourselves the headache and your money and go buy somewhere else where the company stands behind customer satisfaction.

Instore staff extremely helpful. Delivery as promised and completed by friendly personnel. Have bought other appliances over the years and have never been disappointed .

Purchased a new fridge. Corbeil has their own movers and they were completely ill equipped and badly scratched everything along the way to the kitchen. I have holes in walls, broken wooden railings, and my new hardwood floor is badly scratched up.

I called to complain and they refuse to take any responsibility.

I purchased number of appliances from Corbeil. What a nightmare!
First, they delivered the wrong fridge. Instead of the counter-depth, they gave me the standard size. Contacted the sales representative and I was told to call the Customer Service. After waiting number of days for Customer Service to sort it out, they brought the proper fridge.
After unwrapping the new fridge, I noticed a small dent on the door.
I contacted my sales rep again. He replied a few days after asking to call the Customer Service. He mentioned that Corbeil would either fix it or in the worst-case scenario would change the door. I called the Customer service again and I was told that after signing the delivery form, I only had 48 hours to inform them about the defect. I told them that I had been waiting for the sales rep to contact me back but at this point they didnt care.
Moral of the story, once they sell you the stuff, you are on your own. Youd better hope you dont have an issue, otherwise youre stuck with any junk they send you.
BTW, the new replacement fridge was slightly cheaper. After a month, I am still waiting to get my $170 refund!

I just received a delivery of a fridge today. The Delivery man was very rude and intimidating. He tried to get my elderly Mother of 75 years who was in the house by herself to give him $80.00 cash to take a rail off to get the old fridge out. She told him she had no cash on her and asked her to email the money to his personal email. I will never buy from this company again.

I bought a stove from Corbeil in L'Acadie street Montreal I received it the 19 of April the next day i called them to say the oven wasn't working at all that i needed to replace my stove they said no that the service man decide what to do once its delivered it's not there problem but the service they don't know when they could come not before the 28 of april that's because it's urgent but they are not sure when they are coming ,so i have to stay without a stove all this time, i'm ready to buy another stove at the delivery to take back the other one they said no and to return the stove he wants $260 dollar to pick up.The service is very bad and i do't know what to do

Ellipse freezer can no longer reach set temperature. After several extremely frustating phone calls to Corbeil et al to find a technician who services Ellipse, finally found one only to discover that the compressor needs to be replaced. The cost of the repair is approximately $750 if a new compressor could be found.

Very frustrated and disappointed with Corbeil and its products. Obviously will no longer buying any products from Corbeil.

Ordered a fridge in May 2020. Delayed 5 times with no commitment. Received an automated notification of delivery the following day and took the day off work. No one showed. I called and they said they forgot to change that when the order was delayed, no apology.

After 14 months waiting for my fridge I cancelled and was told I'd have my refund in 72 hours. It's been 14 days!

If you call be prepared to be on hold for AT LEAST an hour. After multiple follow ups, still no refund, no apology and no effort on their end to resolve.

Do not ever do business with this company!!!!!!!!!

I bought all appliances at Corbeil in Gatineau a couple of years ago. while I was unimpressed with their service then I found out that they could be much worst. My induction cooktop malfunctioned and after a long protracted dealing with the company, unable to have it fixed they credited the cost. I bought a new gas one at Cobeil only to find out that I got the wrong spare parts. When I finally was able to go to the store (Covid restrictions) I was told to call the manufacturer. The list is much longer; I would not advise my worst enemy to shop at Corbeil, especially in Gatineau.

We purchased 4 appliances June 8 2020. The refrigerator was not delivered with the others and we were told that it was on back order and if we switched to a higher priced model it would arrive sooner but we would also have to pay in full. We have as yet not received the refrigerator it is now over 8 months without a fridge. As you can imagine it is very difficult to live without refrigeration ( expensive to eat takeout every day and unhealthy). Corbeil customer service is not responding to us when we can get through we are told someone will call us but we have not had a response.
