Dream Touch Renovations

We have been enjoying our fully renovated basement for a year now. This was a huge project as we started from scratch and ripped everything to rearrange our basement to add an office and fully equipped bathroom. While it took a little longer then originally expected and more costly (every reno project is anyways!), the end result was fantastic. There was some aches and pain along the way. Sometimes, Moe's team would let him down and make us a little frustrated by lack of attention to detail, but he really cares about his work and always found a way to fix things to our satisfaction. He said he would never leave our house without us being completely satisfied and it was the case. They even have been back to fix some electrical problem (at no cost) this year and they were super quick to come. Moe has great contacts for all kinds of material supplies. Really enjoyed the beginning part where he takes you around all day to chose those materials that will be vital to the project. It saved time, energy and effort for us. Our custom built wine rack and vanity in the bathroom look great. We widened both basement windows to brighten up the rooms. It used to be so cold down there. Now we can't get the kids to leave us the basement! I would recommend DTR. I know some people get frustrated sometimes with their contractors, but Moe is open to dialog and communication and he will take critics to make his team better and deliver a good project. In the end, while the project was getting overwhelmingly expensive, he was nice enough to give us a few "freebies" to lighten the weight! That was really appreciated.

Moe and the team at Dream Touch Renovations did an amazing job! We had them initially come in and totally renovate half our basement. The project was completed on time and within the budget. The team was very professional and courteous to all our needs and concerns. My basement is now finally a 'cool' place for my kids to play and relax.

After having such a good renovation, we again chose DTR to redo our master bedroom closet. Again this project went very well, from fully opening up the closet access, to building new shelving, priming and even installing the new doors. My wife is sooooo much happier and its thanks to DTR.

There is some delay with the quote at beginning due to busy season. Then, Moe helped setup the team and start the project immediately. It is faster than I expected. Bill and his team kept high quality job. It's always good to have a professional team with you. Thanks

Had our bathroom redo by Dream Touch Reno a few weeks ago and not at all impress. The owner, Moe was nice and would help us picking out material with no rushing. He also has keen eyes for design, but perhaps he just have bad luck with the people who work for him?
1. The tile work which is pretty much the main focus of the bathroom was awful (crooked, uneven, scratches... you name it).
2. Light switches are too close to the door frame so they trimmed the covers to make them fit. (they looked better before the reno)
3. Toilet seat, counter top, tiles and wooden vanity get all scratched up.

I should have updated this review a long time ago.
Moe sent someone over to correct the work to our satisfaction.
Also I want to mentioned that Dreamtouch had previously did a total kitchen reno for us and we were very please with the work.

4. The project ran late, we did the priming and painting ourselves but still got charged for it.

My easy going husband would said "oh, we can live with that" or " we can tolerate that"... and I thought we go through reno stress and pay for it so that we can enjoy NOT tolerate.

Moe and his team were very professional, helpful and insightful the entire way. They ensured the project was started and finished on time.
I would recommend them to friends and family for their work.

I hired DTR after searching and interviewing other contractors. I began the project by tearing out the old basement reno, but found that it was a lot bigger than I thought and required more skill than I had.
I can't say enough about Moe and Bill and their crew, especially Stephan, Matt and Neuro. They were meticulous in their work and accommodated the six changes we had very easily.. They did the complete flooring, ceiling, walls, HVAC, tiling, electrical work that was needed - on-time and on-budget - I could not ask for more - the crew were very friendly and easy to work with. Our thanks to Moe and the DTR crew. We will definitely hire DTR again for our next renovation.

They failed to build to code in several areas including electrical and insulation. It will cost upwards of $70,000 to fix the corners they cut in construction. DO NOT HIRE
