Charged service fee for showing up & then wanted another $260
labour charge to tell me what was wrong with my oven.
I thought I would at least know what needed to be fixed before
deciding if it was worth it. Really $260 to "test" for problem.
Not my idea of service

I called this company for my fridge, the water wasnt working. The guy showed up, replaced nothing, he went behind the fridge for maybe 15 minutes and handed me a huge bill of 360.00. I asked how much the hourly rate was and never got an answer. My fridge is still not fixed, I called and asked him to come back and they told me "we dont warranty service". I suggest that if you need an honest repair company, to search on Homestars first.

Called this company after seeing the web site, as other reviews on this site mention, got charged for no repair, guy tinkered around the back of fridge and was told evaporator fan needed replacing. Then he said the parts department will be in touch and left. Fridge was still not working but got conned for $316 dollar service fee. Service department called the nex day with a quote for $420 dollar part. Did some calling and found the replacement part selling for $117 dollars at reliable parts. Terrible experience, do not call this company. Warning. These people are not what they advertise themselves to be.

Do not use this company. They only care about collecting their money after doing absolutely nothing but showing up. They said it would be $80 for a service call, if we chose not to proceed with their service. If we chose to proceed with their service, they would forgo the $80, and charge us for the repair. The service guy showed up to fix my tenants microwave. Didn't spend more than 20 minutes looking at it, and requested that a part worth $650 was required to fix it. We chose to forgo buying this part and instead by a new microwave. The service guy told us the bill for the service was $316. He refused to give us an invoice until it had been paid. I had to make this payment because I did not want to have a collections issue in the future. He actually left the microwave in a worse state than before (The microwave lights now don't go off, even when the door is shut) . I Would prefer that this company be more transparent in its communication regarding service charges. This company treats its customers unfairly. I will not be a return customer, and I will let all friends and family know never to use them. I hope someone benefits from this review. It is sad to know that there are still manipulative companies like this out there.

Do not use this company. We called for repair to our refrigerator and indicated that we thought the issue was the electrical cord as it looked like it had been spliced. Repairman went through whole diagnostic for 2 hours to tell us everything was in working order. Finally he looked at the cord and indicated that was the problem. He referred the issue to their parts' department which would be another cost to locate a cord. $320 to tell us what we already knew. I wish I had done my research on the company prior to calling. We are now working with a highly reputable firm.

Do not use this company. Over the phone they stated the service call would be $80. The repair man spent about 15 minutes on the issue and then said he would need to order a part. To leave he said we owed him $200 and said it would be another $200 to fix it.

He was rude and aggressive. This company is not a reputable company.

Called them to repair an out-of-warranty whirlpool washer. Service call cost was 90 dollars. When they showed up, I wasn't there but was on the phone. The man said that it would cost around $280 to fix, but maybe that still wouldn't fix it and it might be $350 more. I spent 25 years in the appliance business and know when someone is trying to take advantage. Very disappointing. I told him to leave and refused to pay the service call. I never received a written quote for parts and labour for the estimated repairs. Now I have a collections letter and am torn between paying them their $90 or paying the $95 it would cost to take them to small claims to teach them a lesson. Maybe the right thing to do would be both. It's obvious they don't care about bad reviews but I still plan on sharing my experience with my huge social media following, many of which are in the same business as they are.
(BTW I got a great deal on a new LG washer for way less than $630 the next day.) I invite them to contact me first to settle this more professionally before I take any further action.

Really wish I had looked them online before calling. gave us a quote to look at our washer - "shouldn't be much for parts". In fact, it would be cheaper to buy a whole new unit but I guess then they don't make any money.

As with others on this site I was quoted $280 to DIAGNOSE the problem with my dishwasher. Unfortunately I didn't check these reviews earlier. I ended up paying the service call fee. Just wondering if this company is ethical.

Don't call the Appliance Repair Guys. They provide technicians who are unqualified to service your appliances. They completed a repair to my washing machine, said everything was fine. I questioned there repair and asked about their warranty, they said they never ever have any issues with there repairs. After the technician left I loaded up the washing machine to try it out and it stopped half way in with the same draining issue. Now they don't want to talk to me.
I was in a rush to get the machine repaired and I didn't read all the negative reviews. Don't use them they only want your money.

THESE GUYS ARE BAD NEWS
