AFG Heating and Cooling

I called AFG heating and cooling to fix my AC as I needed it done asap. I was impressed by their customer service as they handled my call in a very nice way. Their technician "Rafi" came to my house to investigate the issue and the problem was fixed in less than 30 min. My AC is now working fine thanks to Rafi. The technician was very professional. Their pricing is also reasonable. I strongly recommend this company.

Fasi responded immediately to my problem with a broken motor blower and capacitor, when another company said it would take 3-4 weeks just to see if they could get the part. Our unit was fixed within 48 hours of calling AFG. This means a lot in mid-July when temps and humidity can climb. Fasi was friendly and professional and I'm glad to hear AFG also services boilers, because I will be using them for all of our HVAC needs from now on. Fasi also had a few helpful hints on running the unit, and simple things the home-owner can do to maintain the AC and save electricity.

He took the time to explain what he was going to look at and then explained what had to be done. A follow up visit was needed, and Fasi came back the next day, on a statutory holiday. No high pressure sales, all he did was deliver what was needed to get through the season and said he would come back next year to talk about possibly swapping unit if required.

Looked through a lot of reviews on HomeStars and was impressed with what people had to say about AFG. I called today (Sunday afternoon) and got Fazi on the line. His manner was very pleasant and helpful, he had a good idea of what the problem might be and arrived here earlier than anticipated. He diagnosed the problem (defective capacitor) and fixed the unit in no time. Has the unit running better than it ever has. I would definitely recommend Fazi and AFG and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

I found Raffi of AFG Heating & Cooling to be professional, knowledgeable & above all honest. I called because we were having problems with a 15 year old boiler with even older pipes so Murphy's law was in full force. Raffi was patient in explaining what was wrong & what he would do to fix it. At one point he thought a part was defective -so brought a new one to replace it - then discovered it wasn't the part but a short in the wiring. Rather than going ahead & replacing the part at additional cost to me (I would have been none the wiser) he fixed the wire at no cost. I highly recommend AFG. The boiler is working fine now & no pipes are leaking or valves rusted shut.

Rafi came in and installed a new condensate pump and they did a great job. Very courteous and professional. I called them and the very next morning they came to take a look and within 24 hours my air conditioning was working again! I would definitely call them again and be more than happy to reccomend them to friends and family.

Ralph and Fazi and the crew at AFG Heating and Cooling Services were great to work with. We noticed last week when we turned our AC on for the first time this season that no cool air was coming out. I called a bunch of the Heating and Cooling companies listed on Homestars but found the call with Fazi to be the most comfortable and reasonable. Within a day he had visited to assess the situation. He wasn't able to fix it on the spot so Ralph visited two days later (on a weekend!). Within a few hours he had tested our HVAC system for leaks and then refilled the system with coolant which was low. Everything is now working well and he even gave advice on how to manage the gear. Ralph is good guy. He was clean, took his boots off every time he came into the house, worked hard, resolved the problem, and stuck around long enough to ensure it was working well.
I recommend these guys. We are happy with the service, feel the price was fair, and appreciated that they were responsive and knowledgeable.

I know rafi from afg heating and cooling personally for about 14 years now. Couple of months ago my furnace broke down, and I called rafi, he came by and gave me a quote for a new furnace, since my 30 years old furnace was not worth repairing. His installation team came couple of days later and installed a brand new modulating high efficiency furnace. I'm impressed with their expertise and professionalism.
