AFG Heating and Cooling

In the middle of the hottest summer my A/C stopped working. I called AFG and Rafi, one of their technicians showed up the same day. He immediately diagnosed the problem (faulty capacitor) and fixed it. Great service, great price. But, more than that, he had to go into the furnace room and noticed a smell of gas. Although this was not the service he was called to do, Rafi proceeded to diagnose that issue and then fixed the leak without even charging me. Outstanding professionalism! Great job!

Needed a boiler repair before I went out of town. AFG was able to come the next day. Rafi called me before arriving, diagnosed the possible problems on the phone, and determined it would take more time to fix than I had available that day, so we arranged for him to come the next day. Saved me the cost of two visits. He arrived on time, was thorough and methodical in finding the problem, didn't mind me standing around watching and answered all my questions. He completed the work in good time, cleaned up completely, and the cost was less than I expected. Will certainly use them again, and happy to recommend them.

We found AFG on homestars.com when we were looking for someone to figure out what was wrong with our boiler. AFG luckily answered my call and came the very same day to diagnose the problem. They gave us a temporary solution until the next day when technician Rafi came by and gave us a permanent solution. I cannot say enough good things about Rafi who was very thorough and truly seemed as though he wanted to make sure the job was done right. He also went out of his way to show me exactly what was wrong and explain to me what he was doing in a way which allowed me to really understand. The job was finished, the problem was fixed, and we have the utmost confidence in the work that Rafi did. I would definitely recommend AFG and will definitely be using them in the future!

It's very difficult to find someone honest these days who you can trust with your repairs these days. We're glad we gave AFG a chance. Not only the response to our call was quick, but the diagnostic was pretty thorough and the repair cost efficient. We're very pleased with AFG's services and honesty. The inducer motor on our furnace gave up on us in the middle of the night but we had AFG's technician Fasi over first thing in the morning. He addressed the issue and informed us that our part was still under the manufacturers' warranty. We were relieved to hear that, considering it wasn't a cheap part. We definitely recommend AFG for all your heating and cooling needs.

Called AFG and had an excellent experience starting with the gentlemen who answered the phone. They worked around my schedule and showed up on time. Our furnace broke down in New Year eve. AFG had excellent reviews in Homestar, so we asked them for help. Right after New Year, the father and son installation team showed up early in the morning on time. They worked non-stop for 3 hrs. They even drill extra air intake when the outside temperature is -40. Now my family can enjoy worry free warm air for the rest of freezing winter. Thank you so much for your hard work. Job well done and the price is right. I am a happy customer.
