Windows By Installer

Steve from Windows by installer came to my house to provide a quote. They were one of five quotes I received. While not the lowest, I felt that Steve was very credible. And their window seemed to be a cut above others in terms of quality construction. Once the windows came in, we set a date and they were completed in one day. The crew was extremely pleasant and respectful of our house interior. We love the new windows and their functionality...shoudl've done it a few years ago. I would have no problem recommending these guys to anyone considering window replacement.

I have used Windows by Installer before and so had no problem hiring them for this job. The owner Alex of the company came and took all the appropriate measurements. He had to order the jamb liners from another company, so we scheduled the install date out a month. When the parts arrived they were white instead of off-white. This was a problem only because we were only replacing the liners in some of our windows, not all of them...they wouldn't have matched the existing ones. They ended up rescheduling the installation twice while waiting for the parts. When the install day came, a pair of men came out to do the work. I had been told it would take from 9am-1pm. They arrived promptly and completed the work by 11:30am. They offered to replace the blinds on the windows, although I wanted to dust them, so I did it myself. Very good experience with Windows by Installer, however it was too bad they were at the mercy of another company when it came to getting the parts. I will for sure use them again.

I paid approximately $6,300.00 for the job. Initially, that did not include the bay window, which was estimated at almost $1,500.00 by itself. When I was undecided as to whether I wanted to give the green light on the purchase, the salesman called and said the company would include the bay window for that same price, as an incentive to seal the deal. I paid an extra $150.00 or so for the oak trim kit for the bay window, instead of the standard pine. The contractor installed that, too, and did a magnificent job. It was perfect. Our local "Mega-window store" wanted $11,000.00 for the same job, except that wouldn't have included the small custom windows, and they said they couldn't even make the large bay window at that size, for any price. They said I would have to have the window opening resized to make it work, at my expense.
It's been a few months since I dealt with them, but if the work quality and standards remain unchanged, I would certainly be glad to do business with them again.

Everyone I talked to at Wbi, including the people on the phone and the installers, were courteous and polite. All my contact with them has been good. If people like that worked at Bell, they would make more money. With me and the people on the phone and with the installers, there was no miscommunication. Messages were passed in a timely fashion. I will get six more windows from them soon. If they could polish up the salespeople a little bit more so that they give a quick and precise sales pitch, they would be doing well. I was most satisfied with the fact that the product that was ordered came in a little bit ahead of time and the delivery and installation went better than promised. When I do order the other six windows for this house, I will specifically ask for the same installer (Steve) who did the front two windows. I don't want anyone else on the job but him. The reasons I picked Wbi, as I stated before, was the quality of their product and their guarantee. I did not call any other companies because I have already decided that I would use them for my windows. I have seen competitor's windows falling apart. I have seen a very bad job where they took advantage of mentally handicapped people. Call Windows by installer, you won’t regret it!

WindowsByInstaller installed 12 windows in our home and knocked out an exterior wall to replace an existing window and door with a 9 ft. sliding glass door. Replaced a rotted out window sills for free to ensure their product looked great. We could not have picked a better company to work with. In addition to being the lowest quoted price, they're work is high quality. They were trustworthy, worked hard and did an impeccable job. Overall a great company and a great product.

Windows by Installer sales person came to the house and gave an easy to understand description and features of the double hung window that we eventually decided on to replace all of our very old and non-standard sized windows. He said it would be 4 - 6 weeks before installation - it was just over 4 weeks. Very pleased with that! The man in charge of installation came a few days after the estimate to measure and discuss the installation process with me. Because the windows were so old, the previous paint contained lead, so was an additional step to installation.
The installers were all very professional, working quickly and efficiently. One of the installers inspected each installed window with me, and I saw what an excellent job they did! They also managed to keep our nice wood sills and moldings. The windows look terrific inside and out!
The product is of obvious high quality. We immediately noticed the positive effect the windows have on our heating. We are excitedly waiting for the installation of the two entry doors we are having installed by these guys!

The work turned out excellent and I am quite pleased. Windows by Installer did the work efficiently with dispatch. They followed up and checked on the work. The product was pretty good quality, as advertised. With my former, older windows, there was a draft and with the new Andersen windows it has made a major difference. They cut both the heat and the draft from coming into the house as much; the heat loss is also less. I remain quite pleased. My Godparents are going to be redoing their windows as well in the next 2 weeks, and they have also already booked with Windows by Installer.

They are a local company who sells and installs windows and doors. I spent about $2,000. I had a good experience with Alex from Windows by Installer. I had received quotes from three other companies. However, I decided to use this company because they are local and they contribute quite a bit to the community. They made a product and did the job well. I am satisfied with the doors. They were cheaper than the other companies. I would use Windows by Installer again in the future.

We’ve done a lot of research. After a lot of fast-talk, double-talk, and even back-handed talk, we were happy to discover Windows by Installer. They successfully put our nerves at ease by simplifying a complex, large investment and installing beautifully designed windows at our locations. Service was top notch!!! Clean install, friendly and efficient tradesmen and quality service and great product at an amazing price (no one came close).

Everything was really great and I would recommend them to anybody. I'm really happy with my windows. The windows come with a lifetime warranty which is really comforting to know in case any problems might come up. After they complete the job, they send someone out to look at it to be sure everything was done correctly and reinforce that if I noticed anything to please call. They had great customer service and the price was reasonable. During this whole project I was working with Alex and Steve, they are great professional and really know how to take care of their customers.
