I have deliberately waited 6 months to post my review as I wanted to ensure that no defects came to light over time. I am happy to share that not only has Monteiro's work held up but the experience at the time was excellent.

Quality work is the result of their craftsmanship and ability to ensure that I, (as a client), was on the same page with the company about how the final product would look.

I hired Monteiro Homes for a reno project for my bathroom and he did an fantastic job! I have already referred him to family and friends!

We hired Phil to redo our Kitchen as the floors and counters were very outdated. We also wanted to cut a pass-through window into our living room. The reason we choose Phil is that he always responded to our questions very quickly and was in constant communication. Any questions or concerns we had he got back to us right away. Our Kitchen is now complete and we love it and was done at a reasonable price.

We would recommend Phil to anyone else looking to reno their Kitchen.

Phil did a great job for me. He worked on my condo and did the floors, painted the whole unit, changed my kitchen cabinet doors, and bathroom, did a backslash and new counters. I loved how the renovations came out. He finished within the scheduled time frame, which was crucial. He was very flexible with certain things I needed to change during the whole process and was very helpful with tips and ideas for options that would be more cost effective, durable or just better function. He was always willing to take my calls and discuss if i had any questions or concerns.
I always give people his number if they ask or talk about doing renos in their place. I will definitely be calling him when I decide to update my kitchen to an open concept.

I have had Monteiro Homes and other contractors quote on 3 different projects and each time I have chosen this contractor. His quotes were fair and reasonable and the work has been outstanding. He has installed baseboards, ceilings and flooring and he was very efficient. He was able to advise me what I could save on and where not to cut corners. As a woman I felt safe and comfortable with him in my house. He takes his work seriously and I am very happy with the result of each of his projects. I am very grateful to Monteiro Homes for the amazing service provided.

Phil was absolutely amazing to work with. First contracted to Reno our kitchen, He always set clear in expectations, and always kept in mind our budget, he never over sold but he did offer excellent alternatives to achieve the same results. Our kitchen was gutted and completely transformed, just so happy with his work. Stellar work ethic and reasonable pricing.
He also re did our laundry room/ work station, we are beyond thrilled with our new living areas.
We have referred him to friends and they also had the same amazing customer experience.
We are now also getting quoted to redo our backyard.
The key word is TRUST,. We trust his word, craftsmanship, pricing and delivery timelines.
