X Treme Plus Eavestroughing

We were very satisfied with X-Treme eavestroughing, they provided us with a quote and the installation crew - cameron did a great job and left the site clean. I would definitely recommend this company.

I would not recommend this company, quite the opposite, do not go with them. It has been 2 years and they still have not completed the job properly.
We hired them to replace our eavestrough on the top level as well as thr downspout. They installed the wrong color and did not give enough clearance for the downspout from the wall (basically.all the rain water is draining into my basement walls, which defeats the purpose of having eavestroughing). We agreed that they will not get the payment until they fix everything. Not only they have not done anything to fix it but they keep sending letters that we have an overdue invoice and now started charging interest! Every time I talk to the lady in accounting she says don't worry it will be fixed but nothing gets done and I keep getting harassed with letters for overdue invoices and collection agency threats. Stay away from this company!

X-treme were contracted through Home Depot to install eavestroughs for me a couple of years ago. The eavestroughs have done the business since then and we are satisfied with the final product.

I would be hesitant to recommend the company though, as we discovered that the downspout was installed right over the kitchen vent, causing the flaps to be unable to open. It was baffling that the installers didn't realize that placing a pipe right over the flaps would stop them from opening, and I don't see how it could have been missed (the vent is clearly there).

After a phone call to explain the situation someone did come out and adjust the downspout to avoid the vent. So in the end it was resolved but it never should have been installed over the vent in the first place.

We had X-treme install eavestrough on our house this spring. Overall things went fine, but it took a lot of calls and threatening to withhold payment until they finished the job.

I'm not sure where the disconnect happened, but we had a quote from them and they agreed to match a competing companies price. We needed 4 downspouts, 2 of each colour. When they arrived to do the install (we'd asked to be notified when they were coming, but weren't) they told us that the new contract where they matched the price didn't specify 2 colours for the downspouts, so they only brought the one. They said they'd be back the next day with the other ones to finish the job. About 3 weeks later and after we called multiple times asking when they would finish (with a promise every time that they would be there in a day or 2), they had the gall to call and ask for payment. We told them they wouldn't be getting paid until the work was complete. The person on the phone seemed surprised that the work wasn't finished (even though we called the office, and their salesperson multiple times) and assured us we would receive a call soon to let us know when they would complete it. Later that day we received a call letting us know they would be there the next day to finish it.

Once it was done, it looks great and is exactly what we were promised, but getting there took too much effort.

Got our eavestrough installed by X-Treme Plus, excellent service from the salesman and the installation crew. The colours matched perfectly with my bricks and vinyl siding. Very happy! Thanks X-Treme A+.

Not being the original house owner, I can't comment on the initial installation job, however, trying to get the company to come on-site to perform some Warranty work has proven to be impossible. The eavestroughing was installed in 2012, and in the Summer of 2015, during heavy rain, I noticed a huge leak from one of the downpipe joints. When I called the company, they suggested that I have the eavestroughs cleaned out first, to make sure that there is no blockage. Fair enough, I hired a cleaners and had all downpipes flushed out. The next rainy day, the leak is still there. I called the cleaners back and had them double check the downpipe. They confirmed that everything is clean, and that there appears to be an issue with the way the pipe was installed. From that point on, I've been calling the X-treme company every 2-3 weeks for the past 4-5 months trying to get them to come out and fix the problem. Each time I was told that this issue will be escalated to Sylvain, the owner of the company, and that someone will call me back within 2-3 days. The calls never came. During my October phone call to the company, I was told that a crew will come and fix the issue during the 1st week of November. Of course, no one showed up. During my last call to the company, which was just a few weeks ago, I expressed my frustration and disappointment in the way my request for the warranty service has been handled by the company. At that point, I was told that one of their sales reps, who is based in Orleans, will call me to set-up and appointment to come on-site and see the issue. Again, no one called or showed up.

If you are thinking of hiring this company, you better pray that nothing will go wrong, otherwise, you'll never get them to come out and fix the problem.

They provided a thorough estimate and then did the work on time. They were extremely neat, thorough and efficient. The product has stood up o et time as well and the colours match our house perfectly.

We contracted X-Treme Plus to remove and replace the eaves through on the lower portion of our split level. It take a bit of back and forth to get the estimate completed, and they were unable to show up on the first day they were originally booked for, once they were on site they did a great job.
They even took on the added work to create and install a pair of re-direct troughs on the upper portion of the split level AT NO EXTRA COST.
Getting them on site WAS a bit of a hassle but I was trying to book them at the height of their season n and thus were extremely (no pun intended) busy, I can understand how the delays could have happened.
I would definitely book them again as their final product looks great and performs beautifully.

Not reliable- When had an estimate done by Maize, Precision and Xtreme. To get an estimate from Xtreme I call and emailed them multible times. I finally spoke with someone because I received a sales reps direct number from a friend. A sales rep came to see us the next day. We ended up going with them because they gave us a price match. They said they would come to install them the next week. After 2 weeks I called to see what the hold up was. The rep told me he would look into it and call me back. I did not receive a call back. The next day I approached the rep who happened to be giving one of our neibours an estimate. He said that they would come first thing Monday morning. If we were not soo busy, we would cancel the contract and go with a different company.
