We recently had to replace an 18 yr old Carrier furnace. After seeking bids from 6 different contractors, we settled on Furnace King Heating and Cooling. The reason we chose Furnace King was because of the salesman, Sandip.
Right from the initial sales call, Sandip demonstrated how knowledgeable and experienced he is about all things pertaining to HVAC. He took the time to carefully assess our needs, recommend the best, most cost effective solution and then proceeded to patiently answer all my questions. He provided us with a very detailed and competitive quote on our new Trane S9V2 furnace. He was extremely thorough.
The installers Mike and John did an excellent job on the install. They showed up on time. They were very courteous and polite. They took great pains not to damage anything as they moved their equipment through the house. They too were very patient in the way they answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. The house feels warm and cozy now.
The main takeaway here is this ….. everything you read about Sandip’s commitment to customer service is true. His is in a class by himself. He was there before and after the installation and his goal is to achieve total customer satisfaction. I hope everyone gets a chance to experience this level of service.

Right from the beginning, it was clear that the Home Depot/Furnace King product, service and warranty was the superior option compared to that of the competitors (Costco, etc.). However, we just assumed that this premium brand and service would come with a premium price. But Sandip managed to get us all the items on our wish list and still stay within budget. We were very happy with the price and the lengths Sandip went to make it all happen.

I was not home during the installation, but my wife tells me that the installers were very professional, friendly and tidy. They explained all their steps and how it all worked in a clear, concise manner. Attention to detail was evident. The pipes were all tucked away nicely with high quality fittings. They even offered to come back in the spring to hook up the A/C since it's better to do in warmer weather.

As for the resulting system, the furnace works beautifully and quietly. And I love the look and savings (energy and space) of the tankless water heater. We now and room to fit a small deep freezer in that space.

From the beginning to the end of our experience with Furnace King, we were very satisfied with the service, product recommendation, rebate advice, and the installation. We selected Furnace King after receiving bids from six competitors. FK's price point was at or below all of the others' but the clincher was the remarkably thoughtful and helpful sales interaction with Sandip. Sandip carefully considered all of the issues we had experienced with our previous HVAC (and some issues we hadn't even noticed!) and, in our view, recommended precisely the right combination of components to resolve these problems. He responded to our questions at all hours of the day/evening with detailed, knowledgeable, considered emails. The installation was expeditious and custom-tailored to our home's peculiarities. Remarkably, Sandip's after-sales responsiveness has been as dedicated as it was before the sale -- a tribute to a very fine company.

We are very happy with our new furnace and hot water heater. Aside from an issue we experienced with the hot water heater venting, the installation went very smoothly and the issue was addressed promptly. The installers were very polite and tidy and Sandip's customer service was second to none. We really appreciated being able to contact him with our issue and having him see it through to resolution the following day.

After exactly 3 years from the installation date, with 3 winters of the new furnace (Trane XV95) use and 3 summers of the new air conditioner (Trane XR16) use it is 'about' time for at least a quick yet big public Thank You. It goes to the firm for the reliability of its chosen representation of the Trane brand and for its client service culture, it goes to its highly professional senior sales rep/home comfort advisor Sandip Banerjee, and to the very service oriented again senior technicians.
In short, after 3 years of use, no problems related to the equipment or installation, very comfortable temperature throughout the house with reduced power consumption. There has been only one minor non-equipment related problem due to the existing set-up of the condense water flexible tubing to the drain during the 1st summer of the air conditioning unit use. It was just one opportunity for Furnace King to prove its commendable client service : Furnace King's technician came the next day after contacting the firm, detected the trouble, cleaned the tubing, and advised us to monitor and prevent re-occurrence. It was a hot day and I am sure many clients asking for its service, yet they managed to include us in the schedule.

It has been one year since we installed a Trane XV95 Furnace and XL-16i AC by Furnace King that replaced a 20 year old overworked Furnace and AC. We could not be happier with the decision that we made as both Furnace and AC have run trouble free and the results in power consumption have been dramatically reduced in our two story home.

We have a NEST Thermostat and on previous days when temperatures soared to +40C our old AC ran about 20 hours on a daily basis. This was reduced to eight hours at the most or a consumption reduction of about 60%. Given lower temperatures this year more in the high +30C the average power consumption is now at less than six hours per day. In the winter the house is comfy and warm without cold spots. And Enbridge has lowered our monthly payment plan by $60 each month and that will likely be increased next year as power consumption decreases.

Our sincere thank you goes out to the people at Furnace King from Sandip, Sales Executive who recommended the products for our home and to the installation technicians Mike and John who are truly professional, courteous and caring. In addition our one year maintenance was carried out in the same manner.
