I've been a Furnace King's customer for the last 9 years with my 24 year old furnace that has been serviced yearly by Claudio and Brian, amazing people that kept my old furnace running for a long time without any major issues, they know their trade and are very professional. After the last service I was told that it had some error codes and I was quoted the repair costs. I asked if it was possible to get a quotation for a new furnace. Sandip came to my house, checked the house and provided with different alternatives and brands to replace the furnace. He is very knowledgeable, he explain the advantages and disadvantages of the systems and brands available, he knew my budget restrictions and provided with the best alternative available. Luckily I bought the furnace because the same day the old furnace stopped working. On the scheduled installation date and sharply punctual Mike and Johnny came to install the new furnace, it was a seamless process, no issues, everything was done professionally and after finishing the job the furnace room was left spotless. I am very pleased with the team that works for Furnace King, the service and products provided and definitely I can recommend this company without a doubt to anybody.

The thing I liked most about Furnace King is they used top quality products (Trane) and installed it the right way. I had a home inspection done where the inspector insisted a certain installation (venting to outdoor). Furnace King was the only company whose installation aligned with what the house inspector said. The other providers had stories about why this wasn't necessary, and I didn't trust any of them. Furnace King were able to answer all my questions immediately, while other providers were not, or they stumbled with their answers and seemed unsure.

Installation was done exactly as said. I would recommend Furnace King. Prices were slightly higher than other providers, but I believe it was worth it and I received a better quality furnace and installation.

Our 20 year old 1-stage furnace wasn't increasing in heat, so we had an inspection with Claudio. He was able to get Sandip to come to our house within 2 hours to go over our choices. Sandip was very knowledgeable, professional and pleasant. We went with the Amana 2-stage variable DC model and it was installed within 3.5 hours the very next day by Mike. He, too, was professional and mats were laid out as to not dirty the floors. We're very impressed with this company's staff, customer service and expertise. I should mention this was all during the coldest winter in 57 years!

Sandip and his team helped us out of a very cold spell this December 2017. I called Sandip on a Sunday and he came that same day to provide a quote. Then it was installed the next day. Great & reliable customer service - especially when you need it the most!! Also in the summer our air conditioner went in a very hot spell too and again it was all done very quickly and professionally.

I was very glad I had saved Sandip's business card from 2016 when he replaced my old air conditioner very quickly during a heat wave - Yesterday, with temperature like -18, my 12 year old furnace failed and I called Sandip. Within less than a day, I had a new furnace and he even organized heaters to be sent over from Furnace King for us to use overnight to stay warm until the installers arrived at 7:30am. Wonderful service - very caring and understanding right from Justine on reception to Johnny and the 2 technicians who came so quickly. I recently replaced my whole heating & cooling system and relocated the furnace to accommodate my basement renovation. Homedepot/ Furnace King turned a stressful situation of mine into a very positive experience. I am so glad that I chose Homedepot/ Furnace King to work with.

Sandip presented his company through his dedication and proficiency. After his detailed initial quotation appointment, he continuously did follow-up with me, getting to know my budget, my future plan regarding the house, and my concerns.

I chose Sandip’s company for many good reasons:

Many people say Homedepot will be the most expensive to work with, which is not true, especially for the quality of work and service they provide. Sandip was very efficient and good at his work. He wrote a detailed contract and went through it with me. He helped me applied Homedepot card right after I signed up. He immediately arranged an energy consultant’s call and his contractor’s measurement appointment for the following day. He sent me text messages to remind me about the time of the appointments. He did follow-up after the appointments to make sure they went on schedule. Working with Sandip, you will have peace of mind - a dedicated and professional sale representative will honour his words; i.e., there won’t be unpredictable problems or surprising charges!

When I first talked to Mike, the technician from Furnace King, for the measurement, I was impressed. He was professional, polite and skilled. He attended my requirements of moving the furnace to a new location. He carefully measured, planned and communicated with me to address my needs and feedback. He suggested I call my renovation contractor to inform the new location he was going to put the furnace, and told me if there were any problems, I could let him know to discuss. Moreover, when Mike was checking the outdoors, he discovered that the gas metre and the intake air pipe of my tankless water heater (I had it installed by a private sector months ago) was too close and he said he would help me to modify it to a safe distance!

He made schedule to install the system for me a few days later and he showed up on the day. There was a snow storm at the previous night. He had his company call me in the morning that they would be 1 hour late. I did not mind and totally understand. I was very impressed by his professionalism and work ethics!

Unlike other times when I hired contractors to do my house projects, I did not need to monitor their work. I knew I could trust Mike. When he started his work, he communicated with me clearly his plan for the day and the day after.

I had heat at the end of the first day. Mike summarized his work for the day and told me the plan for the following day.

When Mike and his assistant Johnny finished work in the early afternoon of the second day, Mike showed me how to use the new thermostat, how to adjust the humidifier and provided me the information I need for emergency service. Moreover, he told me that because there would be renovation work in my basement, I should call the service number after the renovation, so their company would come and clean the furnace!

Due to the season and cold weather, the air conditioner unit will be installed in the spring. Mike made notes and told me his company would call me to have it done early in the May.

Sandip did follow-up when Mike finished the work. Working with this team, everything goes smoothly and pleasantly.

My son told me he felt the house was warmer after the new furnace was installed (I set the same temperature as before). My renovation contractor came and highly praised that Mike did a great job on installing the furnace.

2.5 years ago Furnace King installed a new furnace at my house. All was good until I came home at 12:34 am Saturday night to find my house at 16 degrees celcius. After my attempt at repair was unsuccessful a placed a service call with them at 12:54 am to have a tech call me back. After 1.5 hrs of waiting for that call,I called back. Same response, so waited 10 min. this time and the tech called only to say he was busy and had 3 more calls to do and he’ll come sometime in the morning. Really it’s now 3 am in the morning and the house is at 14 degrees. I understand this tech might be busy, I mean it was -19 celcius outside but come on in an emergency this company only have 1 tech available. What did I bother spending $4800 on a furnace with a parts and labour warranty of 10 years for if I can’t get someone out when you need. So after arguing with whoever was on the service call end and the tech, this guy finally shows up at 4 am and I for some reason had a feeling that I was gonna pay one way or another. After “unsuccessfully attempting” to repair the furnace, sure enough it was my Nest thermostat that is apparently the problem, which I will be double checking at another house but at 5:30am and a now 12 degree house I was pretty much at their mercy. So they charged me $300 for a thermostat that looked like it came out of 1957 and probably cost $10 to makeplus oh ya that dreaded night service call fee. My problem with Furnace King is the way the handled the situation, this ridiculous price for an obviously cheap thermostat where I paid less for the Nest and could do a lot more and the fact that I knew one way or the other I was gonna pay for that service call, especially early Sunday morning. I’ll be double checking that Nest thermostat for sure. My question is how can this company that from what there salesman said would have very quick reliable service initially try to make me wait 12 hours to get someone out on an obviously very cold winter night? You just know there are gonna be more problems than normal out there on that kind of night. Well lesson we’ll learned, from now on only big reputable companies for me that will have more than 1 tech available in an emergency. I might pay a touch more but the saying goes “you pay for what you get”. Never again will I deal with this company or every recommend them to anyone.

The Furnace King sales rep, Sandip, did a very thorough and patient job of explaining the technology, the options and the costs of the furnace & AC installation to me. He continued to assist me and ensure that I was able to complete the installation even when I suffered a significant setback. Sandip was diligent about getting back to me with answers to questions I had. The installation team of Mike, John and later Brian were very cooperative, efficient and willing to explain everything that was being done so I would understand how to work with my new furnace & air conditioner. Their workmanship was very professional and cleaned up after their work beautifully. I would highly recommend anyone using the services of Furnace King for a new furnace and AC installation.
