Swat Wildlife and Insulation

Derick was very informative and gave us options to improve and prevent further entries of squirrels and or raccoons. Work was done after investigation and suggested improvements authorized. Satisfied with process and work. Hope to keep unwanted guests from living inside our roof.

Derick was very efficient and thorough. He showed up in a very short time frame and was very communicative about the work he was going to do. He’s been so professional, friendly and great at his jobs on the multiple occasions we’ve hired him. Swat wildlife is a great company and I would go to them for all my additional needs!

Derek, the technician was incredible and explained everything perfectly. He was quick and thorough and very helpful.

Derick called before coming, arrived right on time, asked about our situation (daily noise emanating from within our wall under a defunct chimney), he climbed up onto our roof and into the chimney, reported on what he saw (what appeared to be a ledge within the chimney, as well as some droppings on the roof). He explained and showed me the cap that he would construct to mount onto the chimney as well as how the one-way door would work. To prevent our unwanted house guest from simply moving from the first chimney to our second, he put caps on both. Derick climbed up, harnessed in, and capped both chimneys including a one-way door on one all within an hour. I could see him adjusting the fit carefully and testing both caps to make sure they were on securely before he climbed down. He was warm, friendly, professional; as well as patient with his explanation and clear about what services are included, e.g., warranty, subsequent removal of the one-way door. I've already shared his card with our neighbour.

So let me first start off by saying that I don't usually write reviews on companies but I always read what other people have to say. Long story short I called another company to come and check on a possible mouse problem in a home I just moved into. There was an issue with mice in the attic. The other company came did their thing. I continued to hear noises I did some research and called SWAT. I wanted them to check if there was anything else that the other company missed (possibly a larger animal getting into the attic). I must admit when the actual day came for the appointment there was a miss communication between SWAT and myself which sometimes happens. But when the gentleman came over ( I wish I could remember his name), he was extremely professional and an all around nice person. He took the time to listen and went to work. He ACTUALLY went into my attic (which the other company did not). He checked everywhere and confirmed that nothing larger than mice were in my attic. He was then extremely honest and told me that if I still have a warranty with the other company then continue working with them as it would save me money. He NEVER spoke bad about the other company but only said how he would have done things differently and if I wasn't happy with the other company I was welcome to give SWAT a call back and they would put the cost of the inspection visit towards the actual work they would need to do in the future (obviously with in the one year time frame). I regret not going with SWAT originally but I can tell you if I have any future problems, they will be the first I will call. Thank you SWAT for your honesty, kindness and professionalism.

Derick came in promised time, very friendly and have all my questions answered. Installed a one-way door, protected other spots, inspected attic in a professional and efficiency within 2 hours. No noise from squirrels any more and wife is happy. One week after I called them to remove the one-way door and they did within 2 days without the need of my presence. Nice job.

We have used SWAT Wildlife twice recently for pest related issues. They are extremely prompt, reliable, and friendly. They informed us of our issues, advised us well, and quickly took care of the problems.

Thank you, Derick, for notifying me yesterday that you had discovered a potential entrance for wildlife to enter my home whilst you were working for my neighbor in our semi-detached, historical home on Berkeley Street in Cabbagetown.
