We were struggling with the numerous options for flooring after a leak in our basement. Alliance was patient and clear about the +/- for each; never pushy; helpful with lending samples. We've decided to lay the vinyl plank (LVT) Adura Max floor ourselves. Alliance has been generous with detailed advice on what (not) to do. We can't wait to finally have our basement back.

Derick called before coming, arrived right on time, asked about our situation (daily noise emanating from within our wall under a defunct chimney), he climbed up onto our roof and into the chimney, reported on what he saw (what appeared to be a ledge within the chimney, as well as some droppings on the roof). He explained and showed me the cap that he would construct to mount onto the chimney as well as how the one-way door would work. To prevent our unwanted house guest from simply moving from the first chimney to our second, he put caps on both. Derick climbed up, harnessed in, and capped both chimneys including a one-way door on one all within an hour. I could see him adjusting the fit carefully and testing both caps to make sure they were on securely before he climbed down. He was warm, friendly, professional; as well as patient with his explanation and clear about what services are included, e.g., warranty, subsequent removal of the one-way door. I've already shared his card with our neighbour.

Matt was the only roofer who took the time to inspect the roof from atop our home and within the attic. His quote included all scenarios of "what ifs" and he spoke candidly about the likelihood of each. His crew was friendly, finished the job on time and within budget, and they cleaned the site meticulously each day. Matt kept us up-to-date with the progress and was fast, efficient and thorough even when dealing with the unexpected. Matt made sure everything was looked after. He's an all-round good guy and someone with whom we would say our trust was placed.
