After receiving quotes from several pavers in the area, and checking many references I had almost lost hope before finding Joe B. of West York Paving.
His team was efficient, clean and did a great job. The finished product is exactly as described and as we wanted.

I would highly recommend to friends and family.

Joe and Remo were a pleasure to work with from start to finish! Everything was described in detail and followed-through from the very first meeting to the final handshake once the job was completed. They were always there to answer any question I had. Watching the actual paving portion of the job was incredible. These guys and their crew are naturals. Everyone on the crew knew exactly what they were doing every step of the way and were extremely cordial right from the start. I will be contacting them again for a future interlocking job I'm thinking of having done in my backyard. A+++++++++++++++

This company repaved my driveway a few years ago. They did not finish the edges in the way they said they would and they left messy crumpled asphalt behind my gate. They initially said they would be back soon to fix this but never returned. The slope created also means that all the water that runs down the driveway runs into my backyard instead of shared with my neighbour. I made so many efforts to contact the company to have them return and fix their work. I was ignored every time, with no return calls. Until finally I did speak directly with the owner who was very dismissive and avoidant of my concerns. He again said someone would come later that season to look at the work but no one ever came. It seems once they have their money they have no commitment to complete their work or ensure the satisfaction of the customer. It is very difficult to contact them or have them take responsibility for their work.

Joe and his experienced team provided exceptional service and completed our large driveway to perfection. He was considerate of all neighbors too. A pleasure to do business with. A++ Thank You !! The Kingsway Residence

First off I have given this a full year before writing the review to see how things would make it through the winter and everything still looks as good as new!

Our property shares a private lane with three other homes and was in dire need or repaving. I had several companies come out to quote on the job but West York was by far the best to deal with. Joe and his team are wonderful to deal with and I would agree with the other reviewer's description of watching the crew work was like watching a ballet of men and machines.

Hired West York in July of 2014 and agreed they would place base material and return in fall to pave. While placing the base material the crew damage both my fence and stucco. I was told they dropped a large piece of old asphalt and that's what caused the damage. Was not home at the time and was never told about the damage, had to call Remo to ask what happened.

Remo assured my the damaged would be repaired within a few weeks. On the day we agreed upon, I took time off work to be there, no one showed up and did not even get a phone call, remo blamed his subcontractors. This happened several more times, finally someone came for the fence post and replaced the wrong post. After several more months someone came again, replaced the post and put it it crooked so that the fence no longer closes properly.

I made phone call after phone call to get this fixed and get my driveway paved, with no response. I finally contacted the BBB, within 1 day I got a call back. Then right before Christmas, Joe told me it would have to wait until spring because they we too busy. The only time I would ever hear back from them is when they were contacted by the BBB after one of my complaints.

Finally got asphalt down, but had to hold money until they fixed the stucco and fence. Its over a year later and they have still not tried to contact me to fix the damage they did. I finally had to give up and hire someone else.

Both Joe and Remo have the worst professionalism I have have encountered. Their lack of customer satisfaction is unbelievable and am surprised a company like this is still in business. Might also have something to do with paying cash with them, I would not advise that anyone hire this company and would encourage those who have experienced the same as myself from these guys to contact the BBB. Judging from some prior reviews there are others and probably plenty more who have not submitted a review on this website. Stay away from this company!!

Recently I asked York West Paving for an estimate to repave my driveway. The estimator arrived at the agreed time, prepared an estimate and explained it to me in great detail, answering all of my questions. The crew arrived on time and worked seamlessly applying the new asphalt. It was like watching a ballet. The crew were pleasant, worked quickly and left the site in a very tidy state. I am very pleased with the results.

I recently had our shared driveway re-paved by West York Paving.
I had contacted 4 of the “top rated” paving companies on Homestars and Joe Barone of West York was the only one to have the courtesy to respond.
He arrived as scheduled and fully explained what the job would entail and provided an acceptable quote. His crew removed the existing driveway and returned approx. 4 weeks later to re-apply the new asphalt etc. The crew were all very professional and friendly and seemed to take pride in their work. They were noticeably meticulous with how the edges abutting the garages, sidewalk, lawn etc were finished and did a pretty thorough clean-up.

My neighbour and I are very pleased with the entire procedure and would not hesitate to recommend West York Paving.
