We had our driveway repaved at the end of last summer, plus the removal of a very thick concrete walkway and a long concrete driveway curb. Joe came out to see the job and provide a quote. Joe is a wonderful professional to deal with. He explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions. He also went above and beyond to make sure it would be easy for us to complete the landscaping portion before they would pave the new driveway. Joe made a detailed sketch of the job on the contract so that the excavation crew knew exactly what to do. The excavation crew were amazing and followed Joe's diagram to complete the removals exactly as detailed. Joe promised that they would call a week in advance to schedule a paving date. True to his word we got the call and we asked if we could push out the paving date due to delays with our landscape project. West York was very accommodating and pushed the date out for us. Joe arrived first on paving day and made sure the area was ready. The paving crew arrived shortly after and went straight to work. It was easy to tell that they are a very experienced hard working crew that knew exactly what they were doing. The end result was a beautifully paved driveway. Joe even stayed behind afterwards to give me some tips on how to properly take care of the new driveway. We were completely satisfied with Joe and the West York team! We highly recommend West York!

Joe and the West York team repaved our mutual driveway and our neighbours driveway at the same time. Both are narrow (under 7 feet wide), but Joe's paving machine finished both jobs with ease (and quickly too).

Back in summer of 2015 I wanted my 20-year-old asphalt driveway and concert landing at the foot of my porch removed. Remo came by made some design suggestions. Later on, we wanted to asphalt edge to be lined with nice grey stone trim. Remo worked with us on the design of it. He helped us pick out the stone, although we went with a different colour from his suggestion. He was very accommodating of our changes. He made some suggestion on renovating an existing and delapidated wodden stairs for the back our house, which I thought was a good suggestion, and I arranged another contractor to work on that. His crew was punctual, hardworking and friendly. My wife and I love our new asphalt driveway, and our little stone landing at the foot of the porch stairs. Gives our home a nice curb appeal, which we really cherish every time we pull into our driveway. What I really liked about Remo was he didn't think of the just repaving the driveway, he really thought holistically and made some clever suggestions that today I look back and appreciate. We are glad we picked Remo and West York Paving to do our driveway reno.
