I thought Rohit was fantastic to deal with throughout the entire home purchasing process. This was the second home I had purchased a home (the first one was with a different builder) and Rohit was much more professional and pleasant to deal with throughout. Although there were a few things that needed fixing and to be dealt with, in the end, Rohit ended up sending service technicians and the appropriate people to ensure it got done. Yes, at times, this was not done as quick as I would have liked, but all in all, I can not complain as everything did end up getting done properly in the end and I love the home we have through them.

The customer service at Rohit is the worst. The sales people are really nice and helpful but the people at the office are terrible. I have sent emails that have never gotten any response. When it comes to walk throughs or possession dates they send you an email and expect you to work around them. They claim to have back to back appointments and that there is no room to be flexible. Then give you attitude if your unable to make it.

Wish these kind of problems were foreseen because I would have never built with them.

Bought a new build from rohit. At First service was okay, we are on approximate year three now and several outstanding issues persist. Money was withheld from company for concrete work that ended up being done poorly. Rohit promised several times to fix this, had several people out to look at it, and tried to underhandedly go to our lawyer and say it was fixed to get the deposit. Refused to fix things like closet doors that were crooked by saying "they are just like that" . Probably goes for every home builder but get EVERYTHING in writing from these people. They will be decietful and go back
on their word. Do yourself a favour and do not buy from this company.

One more thing: wanted to build a fence. Took forever to get rough grade, a year past promise. Had to start going through the city to get on top of them after several hollow promises. About a month after speaking to city of edmonton? voila! all the grading certificates appeared after rohit kept blaming the city for delays.

My salesperson was great prior to signing all papers. Then felt like I was forgotten. Double booked my 1st walk through with another person and left me basically on my own. Customer service should be a priority and salesperson should be available for a one on one time for a walk through. And good customer service should be followed through to the end. Moved in, windows filthy in brand new house. Emailed 2 days ago if they will clean them and still haven't heard anything. Every time I ask about landscaping..the response is "its a seasonal thing". It would be nice to know!!!

Bought a Rohit show home about a year ago. The sales agreement was signed "AS IS" trusting that they would have pointed out any possible defects. On possession date some defects were identified, main one being the laminate floor squeaking and collapsing on some spots. Rohit contacted the trade to fix it. The trade attempted to fix it but their was no improvement after the fix. This was again reported to Rohit and they again contacted the trade.
The trade came in again showing some reluctance to do the job since one of their colleague has initially attempted. They asked a bunch of question and condemned the fact we use swifter to clean the floor. I did mention to them that the damage has existed before I took possession of the house. They left and made a report to their office and Rohit that the damaged was caused by me.

Rohit contacted me and I tried to explain the situation but the customer rep was just interested in closing out the case without any concern on customers satisfaction. I tried to tell my own side of the story but they just sent an email saying the case has been closed.

Not impressed with the way Rohit handled the defect. Also spoke to the neighbours and found out that many of them also have similar issues with their floor.

We have a hole in our backyard due to a mistake in July 2014. We have lived with the danger to our children for close to a year. The hole is 6 ft high, 7 ft wide and 11 ft deep. It is amazing that nothing has happened to one of the kids and that is due to our parenting skills and attentive eyes. A backyard should be a safe place for our children to go but Rohit has turned it into a hazard.
We have tried to work with Rohit for months last year and for weeks this year to get this resolved. They promised that we were a priority property for them. They stated the work would be completed the first week of May but there was a weather delay. We should have been able to assume that the work would be prioritized for the second week of May but no. I explained to them that we had neighbours installing fence posts on May 14th and expressed my concerns about them being able to access our property. They replied that it wasn't an issue and approved us to go ahead with the fence posts. We finally got Rohit to commit to May 15th.
The subcontractor came on the 15th and saw the fence post and drove away. We received an email that the work wasn't going to get done due to the fence post. We tried calling repeatedly but no one answered their phone. My husband went to their office to speak to someone and he was turned away.
We have now been informed that they will do the work on approximately the 27th of May and that we need to incur the expenses to either remove the fence post or to have the County approve the removal of our back fence.
If Rohit was a decent organization their word would mean something and when there is a hazard to the health of 5 children ages 2 - 6 I would expect a decent organization to resolve the issue. However, they 'ran out of time' last year. I guess months weren't enough time for them to contact the County and have a 10 minute conversation on site for resolution. I guess making our property a priority, which has been stated in numerous emails, means that Rohit will get to this when it is convenient for them and their subcontractor which with their past record could be months from now and the safety of our children be damned.
Do not build with Rohit or if you do make sure you do a holdback so that you can ensure all of your issues will be taken care of and taken seriously.

not recommended! they do not care about customers after move in. do not follow up on calls for repair or assistance. they do not return calls. warranty period sucks. landscaping, cheap, pathetic and not up to code. constantly fails inspections. the laminate florring is cheap and bubbles up really fast.

i purchased a new home from this company and it has been plagued with issues and slow responce time to repair. the warenty is over and now our home has failed city grade. i have made many attempts to contact rohit and repair the issue with no success. failing this i will have no choice but to start legal action. run away from rohit,
